Thanks to that, DNU Economics students not only have solid knowledge but also have soft skills and professional skills; can prepare financial reports, build work plans right from the third year of university.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Khiet said: “I highly appreciate the training program of Dai Nam University. During the process of contacting, exchanging and sharing with DNU students, I found that you are not only confident in your knowledge but also have very good management skills. This is something that very few students have when they are still in school.”
Regarding the talkshow topic “Proper management”, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Khiet affirmed: Proper management is the conversion of resources into value, increasing work efficiency and increasing labor productivity. For students, proper self-management is doing well from small things to big goals; gradually building a plan for self-development and work development; finding favorite things and solving problems as quickly as possible to promote all of one’s abilities and potential.
In addition, the speaker provided management tools and helped students apply proper management of time, health, personal finances, relationships, environmental impacts, etc. At the same time, he helped Gen Z understand future career trends, job positions, and the desires and "demands" of businesses for candidates.
Speaker Nguyen Thanh Khiet highly appreciated DNU students and said he was ready to accept them for paid internships.
In particular, he emphasized: “Each enterprise is a unified entity with many links. Therefore, for an enterprise to operate smoothly and effectively, it requires high coordination and teamwork skills of the departments. Therefore, young people need to grasp the secret of teamwork, always asking themselves: What is my task? What are the strengths of the person assigned to the task? Professional and positive working attitude... Only then can you "stand firm" and develop in the enterprise".
Trinh Thi Nhu Mai - student of class KT 14.02 shared: "The talk show helped me have a more correct view of management, better understand the labor market, criteria and recruitment needs of businesses. From there, I have the awareness to improve my expertise, practice good management skills, have an open attitude, eager to learn, confidently "master" work and relationships, and be ready to go to businesses for internships".
Sharing and direct dialogue with businesses is a necessary and urgent activity for students. Thereby, creating conditions for students to access and learn practically, contributing to strengthening the close relationship between the School - businesses - students. In the coming time, Dai Nam University will further promote practical activities; meeting, sharing and "dialogue" with businesses for students.
