Life is a long series of days with many different emotions, let's stop and reflect on the things we are enjoying and the things others have experienced.
Everyone's life has to go through many ups and downs, intertwined between heaven and hell. There is only one thing when we know that if we fall, we have to stand up by ourselves, if we fall down, even though we are exhausted, we have to take a deep breath and blow into our feet to stand up. At these times, we really need a pair of hands to hold on to, a pair of legs to help us stand up, a smile and a loving gaze. Sometimes the smallest things bring the most wonderful things to help us be confident and overcome our fears, to help us believe that life is the most wonderful and beautiful thing that is waiting for us.

Ending the cycle of a series of hard working days in the bustling and hurried city, we joined the emotional charity trip, carrying 80 gifts and the hearts of benefactors. After traveling more than 100 km, with bumpy, winding roads and traces of natural disasters and floods, before our eyes were simple, ordinary, poor people and they looked at us timidly and pitifully. The houses without doors, distorted, dilapidated, just enough for the suffering people to crawl in to avoid the rain and wind, lying next to the bumpy, undulating roads when the flood water passed through, it eroded everything, leaving only rocks and firewood.
The flood left behind only sadness and loss. The innocent child lost his father, the only support in the family, his face still showed bewilderment and bewilderment, not knowing if what was around him was a dream or reality. Many nights have passed since the flood swept away his beloved father. Every night, the two children hugged each other and slept next to the makeshift altar with only a few cold incense sticks. Perhaps they did not yet realize that their father had gone forever, and in that dilapidated house, there would only be a mother with many illnesses.
Perhaps in our imagination we never thought of many houses whose greatest assets were just an old bed, a table without chairs that the owner did not dare to invite guests into the house. Muddy ponds, chicken coops, pig pens, empty gardens, all but the remains of their bodies. When we arrived, people's lives had not yet returned to normal, they were still in the process of cleaning up, many people were still not yet recovered from what had happened, they were still absent-minded, soulless, and when we handed them gifts of love, they could not even smile.
They ran into the house to find the newest shirt they could find, the least torn pants to stand up and tremble to say thank you for the small gifts we brought. It was true that the harshness of natural disasters and life had made the people here tired, their feet were covered in mud, their hands were shaking, their faces were marked by the sun and wind. They were diligently and attentively working in the garden. Only the children were still a little innocent. They shouted to each other to run after us to receive each candy, they were happy but not eager, their smiles were as distorted as those around them. Each child received each candy but most of them just held it without daring to eat it, perhaps most of them were afraid that if they ate it all, there would be nothing left to show off to their friends. We stepped into the school with 1 room of 2 classrooms. A damp, dark space in the middle of the day. The classroom with teachers, white chalk, blackboard and chalk dust, only four shabby walls, the water marks of the water still remained on the wall, the blackboard was in disarray, the tables were no longer intact, they were worn down by time, some had lost corners, some had holes, some had table legs, some were still there and some were missing. It was truly a scene of devastation left behind after a natural disaster.
The Vietnamese people have the spirit of mutual love and support, “the whole leaves cover the torn leaves”. We are very happy to represent the teachers, staff, employees and students of the whole school to bring small patches to mend some of the losses of the people. Happiness is giving without expecting anything in return. From the bottom of our hearts, we always turn to our beloved people and students with all our hearts. Wishing the people of Yen Bong, An Lac, Khoan Du communes, Lac Thuy district, Hoa Binh province to soon overcome difficulties and rebuild their lives. Wishing the students will be excited and happy with their new desks and chairs. Goodbye and see you again.
