Let's Dance season 3 preliminary round: 12 teams made it to the final round of K14 Freshmen Welcome Gala

With the aim of helping new students of K14 understand the culture and traditions of the school; quickly get acquainted with the school, class, teachers, friends; effectively catch up with the program and professional university learning methods, on November 11, Dai Nam University will solemnly organize the Cultural Exchange Festival "Colors of Dai Nam" with a variety of experiential activities, such as: Dai Nam Cultural Festival, 13th Anniversary of the school's founding, Opening Ceremony of the 2020-2021 school year, Gala to welcome new students of K14.

This year, the K14 New Student Welcome Gala was held on the evening of November 11 at the main campus outdoor stage (Phu Lam - Ha Dong - Hanoi). The music night gathered folk dance performances, youthful and vibrant flash mobs competing in the final round of the LET'S DANCE Competition - Season 3 performed by the K14 new students themselves. In particular, the Gala night also had the participation of guest singers who are loved and admired by young people.

The judges of the Preliminary round of Let's dance - season 3 are famous choreographers and dancers in Hanoi.

To increase prestige, quality as well as ensure the most fairness for the competing teams, the Organizing Committee invited famous choreographers and professional dancers to join the Jury. These include choreographer Minh Thuy - Head of the LadiesNight dance group; Mon Trong Phuoc - member of KION - X, the number 1 famous street dance group in Hanoi and owns a huge fan base; Ms. Ha MOn - Former head of the DNU CREW Dance Club...

The jury worked seriously and impartially.

As scheduled, the New Student Welcome Gala is one of the activities that Dai Nam University students especially look forward to.

This year, the contest entries were carefully invested with professional performance techniques.

On the afternoon of November 4, Dai Nam University held a preliminary round to select the best teams to move on to the final round. Surprise, amazement, impression, and emotion were the common feelings of all those present at the preliminary round of Let's Dance season 3.

After the dramatic preliminary round, the 12 best teams entered the final round of the K14 Freshmen Welcome Gala. The teams competing in the final round of the LET'S DANCE Competition - Season 3 include: Nursing K14; IT 1403, 1404, 1405; Economic Law K14; Business Administration K14; Korean Language K14; Tourism Management 14-01; Tourism Management 14-02; Chinese 1403, 06, 09; English Language K14; General Medicine 14-01; Pharmacy 14-01; Public Relations and Communications K14.

The performances in the Preliminary Round were carefully invested and had professional performance techniques.

The evenly matched teams made it difficult for the judges to choose which teams would advance to the final round.

Evaluating the quality of this year's preliminary round, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Secretary of the School Youth Union, Head of the Jury said: "The teams have invested very carefully, many performances have professional performance techniques. The preliminary round took place in a vibrant, attractive, dramatic atmosphere that made the Jury and the audience go from one surprise to another. The teams were equally matched, making it difficult for the Jury to choose the teams to move on to the final round because all the teams were excellent and worthy..."

Although they have only been in school and getting to know each other for a short time (1 month), the new students of K14 have quickly caught up, gotten acquainted, integrated into the group, practiced enthusiastically and demonstrated impressive and convincing talents.

The performances captivated the audience.

“Through the competition, K14 freshmen not only demonstrated their talents, confidence, and creativity, but also demonstrated excellent teamwork skills, solidarity, and other soft skills. This will definitely be a good experience, motivating them to study,” Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy added.
