With the motto of “continuous learning, teachers must be good for students to be good”, the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Dai Nam University pays special attention to training, updating professional knowledge, and enhancing practical experience for the teaching staff. In that spirit, recently, the Faculty organized a seminar “Sharing scientific research experiences for lecturers of the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management”.

The University has two basic functions: training and scientific research. These are two activities with an organic relationship, two basic strategic tasks of the school, in which the school's lecturers actively participating in scientific research activities is one of the important - mandatory - necessary measures to improve the quality of training, better meeting the increasingly demanding needs of society.

The seminar was attended by: Dr. Le Hong Viet - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Science Magazine, Vietnam Women's Academy; Dr. Le Thi My Ngoc - Head of Logistics and Supply Chain Management Department and all staff and lecturers of Logistics and Supply Chain Management Department, Dai Nam University.

Sharing at the seminar, Dr. Le Thi My Ngoc said: Scientific research is necessary and important in the teaching process to improve the quality of the teaching staff. Through scientific research, lecturers have the opportunity to delve deeper and grasp more closely the professional knowledge they are directly teaching; develop thinking, creativity, ability to work independently, cultivate knowledge and scientific cognitive methods of lecturers, and at the same time form in lecturers the qualities of researchers.

“Many young lecturers lack experience in orienting topics, are reluctant to participate in research, and do not spend much time on this work, leading to limited capacity and methods for participating in research. Therefore, the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management pays great attention to this activity; regularly organizes seminars and attends scientific conferences so that lecturers have the opportunity to learn and improve their professional qualifications…”, said Dr. Le Thi My Ngoc.

Throughout the seminar, Dr. Le Hong Viet shared interesting and useful information about the scientific research process; at the same time, he suggested and guided young lecturers of the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management in orienting topics, searching for documents, and developing ideas for writing scientific articles for publication in journals.

In addition, Dr. Le Hong Viet also listened to the concerns and worries of young lecturers about teaching and scientific research to give advice and solutions to problems; inspiring teachers on this exciting journey of scientific research.

“I hope that my sharing will contribute to promoting the spirit of initiative and active scientific research for young lecturers of the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Dai Nam University…”, Dr. Le Hong Viet shared.

Lecturers of the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management of DNU regularly attend domestic and international seminars and conferences on the profession.

The seminar "Sharing scientific research experiences for young lecturers" was a great success, a great motivation for the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management to organize more training sessions, practical experiences to improve knowledge and support young lecturers in teaching and research.

Representatives of staff and lecturers of the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management attended the International Conference.

In December, lecturers from the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management attended the 3rd International Conference on Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence – Computing4Human, co-organized by the International School of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Dai Nam University. This was a great opportunity for young lecturers to connect and learn from domestic and foreign scientists.
