At Dai Nam University (DNU), learning is not only limited to books, but also a journey of experience, friction and demonstration of intellectual capacity. The most vivid proof of the spirit of “learning goes hand in hand with practice” is the Law Competition 2025 – where students of the Law Faculty can “compete to the end”, applying knowledge into practice with the dedicated support of lecturers.

AI enters the courtroom

Not simply a debate competition, “Law Contest 2025” is also an opportunity for Dai Nam University students to approach and discuss outstanding legal issues in the context of strong digital transformation, especially the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the legal field.

At this academic playground, the teams demonstrated their critical thinking ability, sharp argumentation and rhetorical skills, and acumen in handling modern legal situations.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Loi - Dean of the Faculty of Law, Head of the Jury shared: “ The Law Faculty Debate is one of the typical academic activities of the Faculty of Law, helping students not only consolidate their specialized knowledge but also practice essential soft skills for their future careers. This year, bringing the topic of AI into the debate is an important step, demonstrating the spirit of keeping up with global trends, while encouraging students to think innovatively and proactively approach modern legal issues.”

Experiences to Grow Up: An Insider's Perspective

Nguyen The Giang – the student who won the Best Contestant award – expressed: “The Hung Law Competition is not only a competition, but also a place where I can break my limits, learn how to listen and debate, accompany excellent friends and experience the feeling of a true ‘battle of wits’. Each round is a time for me to grow up.”

Tran Huyen Diep – representative of Just Invicta team (first prize winner) shared: “From the preparation stage to the debate, we always received close support from our teachers. This year’s topic was very interesting and challenging – forcing us to learn about both technology and law, thereby realizing that the legal industry is changing dramatically in the AI era.”

Intellectual playground - Journey of courage

The competition takes place in three rounds: Preliminary – Training – Final, with the support of a team of experienced lecturers and prestigious legal experts:

More than a competition – a journey of growth

“Law Science Tranh Hung 2025” once again affirms the modern legal education orientation at Dai Nam University: learning goes hand in hand with practice, learning is linked to reality, learning to master knowledge and oneself.

This is where students step out of their comfort zone, develop their intelligence, demonstrate their personal qualities, and aim to become dynamic, creative, and responsible legal citizens in the digital age.
