With the aim of finding and developing entrepreneurial talents among youth and students across the country. On the afternoon of April 11, the Central Youth Union's Center for Rural Youth Support and Development in collaboration with the Business Forum Newspaper and Dai Nam University launched the "Youth Entrepreneurship - Creativity 2018" contest with the theme "Green Agriculture".

The Youth Startup Competition was opened to create a playground for young people and students nationwide to realize their ideas in starting a business. At the competitions, many startup ideas of students had the opportunity to call for investment capital to help young people have the conditions to start a business and achieve success.

This year’s competition has chosen the spirit of entrepreneurship as its core value, training and developing skills to build and implement startup projects under the model of Youth Startup Clubs at schools and localities in the Northern region. This is where young people and students can implement and develop their startup ideas.

Delegates performed the launching ceremony of the "Youth Startup - Innovation" contest in 2018.

The competition is organized on a professional scale, with the direct goal of helping to bring youth start-up projects into reality. In addition to the total prize structure of up to 160 million VND, the winning teams are also supported in terms of technology, facilities, markets, etc. to implement their ideas into practice.

All ideas of contestants and teams participating in the "Youth Start-up - Creativity" Contest in 2018 will become members of sanytuongkhoinghiep.com managed by the Central Youth Union's Rural Youth Development Support Center. This is a playground for young people and students who have creative ideas, business ideas to specifically solve social problems or develop the community. Here, you will be able to exchange, consult, support and exchange ideas, and seek opportunities from domestic and foreign investors.

The contest is open to union members, youth, and students from 18 to 35 years old nationwide who have creative startup ideas and can register to compete as individuals or groups (each group has no more than 3 people).

For individuals participating in the contest as individuals: 01 contestant can only submit a maximum of 3 ideas and projects. For individuals participating in the contest as a group: 01 individual can participate in many groups, but can only be the group leader of 01 group. If a contestant has 01 contest entry registered as an individual, he/she cannot participate in the group as a group leader.

The contest is organized in 2 rounds: Round 1 - "Preliminary business ideas" from May 12, 2018 to August 12, 2018; Round 2 - "Final" and award ceremony at 7:00 p.m. on August 25, 2018.

The prize structure of the contest includes: 01 First Prize worth 50 million VND, 01 Second Prize worth 40 million VND, 01 Third Prize worth 30 million VND and 02 Consolation Prizes worth 20 million VND/prize.

Candidates register to submit their exam papers directly to the Office of the Faculty of Business Administration, Dai Nam University, 56 Vu Trong Phung, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi or the Center for Support and Development of Rural Youth of the Central Youth Union, 64 Ba Trieu, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi. The deadline for receiving exam registration is before 17:00 on May 12, 2018.

At the launching ceremony, experts, entrepreneurs, and delegates attending the program shared useful lessons to help young people and students gain a deeper understanding of startups and how to access capital to start a business. Students attending the program asked many questions to interact with the guest delegates about startup lessons, thereby gaining more motivation to implement their startup ideas in the future.
