After more than 1 month of launching, the contest "The first Dai Nam Office Informatics Championship - MOSDNU" has received the attention, support and participation of many students in the school.

Up to now, nearly 150 candidates have registered for the competition. The preliminary round is expected to be held on January 12, 2019 at Dai Nam University, Phu Lam campus - Ha Dong - Hanoi. Candidates with the highest scores in the preliminary round will compete in the final round taking place on January 18, 2019.

Sharing about the purpose of organizing the contest "The first Dai Nam MOSDNU Office Informatics Championship", MSc. Pham To Nga - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Information Technology said: In the era of the 4.0 industrial revolution, the application and demand for recruiting human resources in the IT industry is very large. However, the current IT training in our country has not met the recruitment needs, especially the demand for high-quality IT human resources.
“The first Dai Nam Office IT Championship - MOSDNU was held to help students of Dai Nam IT Faculty equip themselves with more knowledge about IT in the 4.0 era and open up many good job opportunities for students after graduation. In addition, the competition also encourages students of the whole school to learn and master technology, improve the application of IT in their profession. At the same time, discover office IT talents among students to send them to participate in the "World Office IT Championship - MOSWC " competition organized by Microsoft ...." said MSc. Pham To Nga.

Contestants will have to take a test consisting of 3 parts: Microsoft Word 2013; Microsoft Excel 2013 and Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 in the form of multiple choice questions and practice tests.
Candidates participating in the contest will have to take a test consisting of 3 contents: Microsoft Word 2013; Microsoft Excel 2013 and Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 in the form of multiple choice and practice. The multiple choice test on the computer lasts 45 minutes; the practice test lasts 60 minutes.
“ In the preliminary round, candidates must be proficient in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint software; and be able to create office IT products as required on all three of these software. In the final round, in addition to the basic skills as in the preliminary round, candidates must be able to use advanced features in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The theoretical part of the final round will be more in-depth in knowledge of the Windows operating system…”, Master Pham To Nga confided.
It is known that the total prize value of the contest is up to nearly 7 million VND. In addition, all winning candidates will be free to participate in the applied informatics certification exam according to Circular 03 of the Ministry of Information and Communications. If passed, candidates will be granted certificates according to regulations. Candidates who win first, second, and third prizes in the contest will be trained by the School to participate in the " World Office Computing Championship - MOSWC " contest organized by Microsoft.
