Following the success of the program: "Narrowing the gap between school and life" within the framework of the civic week at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year, Dai Nam University continues to implement activities to meet and welcome new students of K12. With the purpose of encouraging and motivating the spirit of learning; disseminating training regulations; answering questions; equipping learning skills and soft skills; educating knowledge about law, rights and responsibilities of citizens for new students, the civic week received the attention and enthusiastic participation of the collective of lecturers and new students of K12.

Following the success of the program: "Narrowing the gap between school and life" within the framework of the civic week at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year, Dai Nam University continues to implement activities to meet and welcome new students of K12. With the purpose of encouraging and motivating the spirit of learning; disseminating training regulations; answering questions; equipping learning skills and soft skills; educating knowledge about law, rights and responsibilities of citizens for new students, the civic week received the attention and enthusiastic participation of the collective of lecturers and new students of K12.

The key to success in the era of international integration

The meeting was attended by many teachers and all new students of K12.

The 11-year journey of growth and development marked many successes, helping Dai Nam University gradually affirm its position and brand in the country's university education system; becoming an address for training high-quality human resources that is well appreciated by society and is the pride of many generations of Dai Nam lecturers and students.

Sharing at the civic activity for new K12 students, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University could not hide his emotion and pride when welcoming the K12 generation of students to study and train at Dai Nam. Not only helping new students have a correct view of the goal of studying at university, a comprehensive and objective view of Dai Nam University, the head of the school also gave K12 students sincere confidences and messages from the heart of a teacher who is always concerned with the career of "growing people".

“ You will become pharmacists and bachelors in many different fields. You are highly educated people, holding jobs that are respected by society. However, to be worthy of the respect of society, you must be people with decent knowledge…” said Dr. Le Dac Son.

Talking to nearly 1,300 new students, Dr. Son affirmed that in the process of international integration, knowledge, foreign languages and soft skills are the “keys” to success. Students must make constant efforts in studying and scientific research to fill gaps in knowledge, cultivate foreign language skills and soft skills to mature in the most complete way. “ Knowledge, foreign languages and soft skills can help you work in any position, in any country in the world. Dai Nam University will do its best to accompany you on your journey to conquer knowledge…” Dr. Le Dac Son emphasized.

Disseminate training regulations and legal education to new students

Also at the event, new students of K12 were informed by Dr. Le Thanh Huong - Vice Principal of Dai Nam University about the regulations and rules related to university training; student affairs; tuition policy; scholarship policy; discipline... and other relevant information. Dr. Le Thanh Huong also spent time discussing and answering all questions of new students related to the training program, the nature of the profession, and job opportunities of future professions.

Not only that, Dr. Huong also gave useful advice and timely encouragement to help new students who have just arrived in the capital to quickly get used to living independently away from home and a new learning environment.

Not only valuing knowledge, Dai Nam University also pays great attention to personality education, behavioral orientation and legal education for students. Participating in the citizen activity week, new students of K12 were informed by representatives of PA83-CA Hanoi about legal knowledge, rights and responsibilities of citizens, helping students to clearly understand their responsibilities in the cause of innovation and international integration of the country.

The week of civic activities ended with 100% of students writing reports with good results. Students were more aware of their responsibilities in studying, self-improvement and training, and gained a lot of useful knowledge as a preparation for entering a new learning environment. This was also an opportunity for the school leaders to promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of students, thereby making appropriate adjustments in training.
