K18 freshmen of DNU Logistics and Supply Chain Management faculty are connected with businesses during the civic week

Recently, the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management of Dai Nam University successfully organized a civic activity week for nearly 230 new students of K18.

Attending the program, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were: Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice Principal, MSc. Pham Thi Dung - Deputy Director of the Center for Student Employment and Entrepreneurship; staff and lecturers of Departments, Offices, Institutes, Centers; leaders, staff, lecturers, new students of the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

In particular, the program has the participation of large enterprises in the Logistics industry: Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Representative of Thuan Phat International Service Import Export Joint Stock Company, Ms. Dang Thi Thu Thuy - Representative of FM TCI Global Logistics Company Limited.

Speaking at the program, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang welcomed nearly 230 new students of K18, and shared and disseminated regulations and policies so that students could better understand their rights and obligations during their studies at the school.

Dr. Le Thi My Ngoc - Head of Logistics and Supply Chain Management Department gave detailed guidance on the major, training program associated with practice, and emphasized the motto "learning goes hand in hand with practice" through internships at businesses right from the first semester.

Sharing from businesses gives students practical perspectives.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh emphasized the importance of professional knowledge, foreign language and IT skills, as well as soft skills needed in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management industry.

Meanwhile, Ms. Dang Thi Thu Thuy inspired new students, helping them understand more about their passion for the industry and career they choose.

Also at the program, MSc. Pham Thi Dung introduced student support activities from the Student Employment and Entrepreneurship Center, including providing life skills, connecting businesses and developing a startup ecosystem.

The program ended with exciting performances from the K18 students, leaving everyone excited and hopeful for a promising learning journey.
