Introduction to the Department of Science Management and Development Cooperation of Dai Nam University

The regulation clearly states that the Department of Science and Technology Management and Cooperation has the function of advising and supporting the School Council and the Board of Directors in two areas: organizing and managing scientific research work and promoting domestic and international development cooperation.
In 2018, with the aim of strengthening the implementation and supervision of scientific research activities, the School issued Decision No. 1782/QD-DN dated October 2, 2018 on Assigning the task of managing scientific research and development cooperation activities to Faculties, Institutes and Centers for the 2018-2019 school year, specifically, the officers in charge of scientific research at specialized faculties are responsible for coordinating with the Department of Scientific Research and Cooperation to organize, implement and supervise scientific research activities at the faculties under their charge.

In 2013, the University issued Regulations on management of scientific and technological activities at Dai Nam University (Decision No. 107/QD-DN, dated March 26, 2013). Accordingly, scientific management activities in the University are managed uniformly at 2 levels: School level and Faculty level.
- The Principal is directly responsible for managing and operating the School's scientific management activities.
- The School's Science and Training Council is responsible for advising the Principal on issues related to the School's science and technology activities.
- The Department of Science and Technology Management is responsible for coordinating with functional units to help the Principal develop regulations and rules on science and technology management, review, monitor, summarize and evaluate annual scientific research activities; manage internal and external activities of Faculties, Institutes and Centers;
- The departments are responsible for organizing, managing, and coordinating to carry out the tasks of scientific research and technological development management of the unit; responsible for urging and supervising the professional aspects of scientific and technological tasks and cooperation of the unit and individuals at the unit.

Also according to the School's Regulations on Management of Scientific and Technological Activities, policies for individuals and groups in scientific and technological management activities are clearly defined, and all activities are evaluated based on conversion according to teaching hours.
