Since the establishment of the university, Dai Nam University has considered the task of boosting research among lecturers and students is one of the most important tasks of the school.
Since the establishment of the university, Dai Nam University has considered the task of boosting research among lecturers and students is one of the most important tasks of the school. Based on the viewpoint of inclusive development for students, the university always encourages and supports the research activities of students. Annually, the university gives award to excellent researches of students in all the faculties. Besides, the university also supports students to join the research contests outside the school. Thanks to the continuous support of lecturers and the university, students of Dai Nam University have won various research awards such as the 3rd Position of the Contest “Young Research Talents of Vietnam”. Without a doubt, the improvement of student’s research ability will ensure their adaptability to the trend of globalization and integration of the country.
Regarding the research activity of staff and lecturers, the university has issued policies to encourage and support the staff and lecturers’ researches. Annually, the university always allocates budget for lecturers and staff to conduct faculty-level researches and university-level researches. Besides, the university also form research group to participate in various research projects organized by other parties. For example, the research group of Dai Nam University has been ranked No.2 of all researches in the approval session of POHE2 Project of the Ministry of Education & Training. The university also holds annual research conferences for lecturers and staff to exchange knowledge and opinions. For example, in 2012-2013, the university held the conferences “Improving training quality in accounting and auditing to meet the social demand”, “Restructuring business of the economy” and a Ministry-level conference “Solutions to develop business in the current economy situation”. In 2015, the university held a Ministry-level conference “Renovating teaching methods by the learner competency-based orientation in non-public universities”. In 2016, the university holds an international conference “Ensuring Rapid Economic Progress in Emerging Economies! Inclusive & Sustainable!!”.
