Internship at businesses: Students get experience and receive salary, businesses retain talent

In order to thoroughly and effectively apply the two learning ecosystems "Enhancing the maximum experience between studying and working at enterprises" and "Creating all favorable conditions to financially support students through the forms of practice - internship at enterprises and supporting employment after graduation", the Faculty of Pharmacy of Dai Nam University constantly expands and develops a network of strategic partners; at the same time, training students with solid knowledge, solid skills, professional style and attitude, confidently asserting themselves when coming to enterprises for internship and receiving salary appropriate to their labor.

“Dai Nam University Pharmacy students have very good attitudes and high spirit of progress”

That was the comment of the leader of Traphaco Joint Stock Company when receiving 20 students of classes 12 and 13 from the Faculty of Pharmacy of Dai Nam University for internship. Here, future pharmacists get to learn about the company in practice; directly participate in the production of products at Hoang Liet factory (under the control of production management); are trained and guided on regulations, working procedures and principles of GMP...

Representatives of Traphaco JSC exchanged and shared with teachers and students of DNU Pharmacy Faculty.

In addition to professional knowledge and practice, students also experience corporate culture, practice skills, working style, sense of organization and discipline, labor safety, production hygiene... In particular, students are paid 150,000 VND/day for making products; have lunch at the company kitchen according to the staff and employee regime.

Dr. Le Vu Long - Production Manager of Hoang Liet Factory, Traphaco Joint Stock Company shared: “Internship with paid products is the company's policy for excellent interns. We hope that this will be a motivation for young people to strive and further prove their abilities; at the same time, it is also a policy for the company to discover, search for and retain potential employees…”.

Representatives of Traphaco JSC took souvenir photos with the group of students of the Faculty of Pharmacy on a practical internship.

At the end of the internship, all students of the Faculty of Pharmacy were highly appreciated by Traphaco representatives for their professional expertise, working attitude and progressive spirit at work.

Pharmacist Le Vu Long commented: “Few groups of interns have a serious, professional working attitude, a high spirit of progress, and a thirst for learning like the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dai Nam University. With a good knowledge base, they all passed the test and met the requirements to work at the factory, quickly caught up with the work flow, and completed the assigned tasks…”

A representative of Traphaco JSC affirmed that they will continue to receive and create all conditions for students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dai Nam University to come for paid internships.

DNU Pharmacy students are full of youth, health, enthusiasm, and dedication to their assigned work.

Motivation to study and strive to affirm one's own value

Nguyen Ngoc Huyen Trang - a student of Pharmacy class 13-06 expressed: "I feel lucky because I have extra income while doing my internship. Although the salary is not too big, it helps me have more motivation in my work. During my internship, I was guided and instructed very enthusiastically by my seniors at Traphaco, along with the knowledge and skills I learned in the classroom, helping me quickly get used to and catch up with the work."

Vu Huy Hung – Pharmacy student 12-01: “If I did not directly participate in drug production activities, I would not know the strict processes and regulations in production. The knowledge and experience gained during this internship will be valuable assets for me to be more confident when applying for jobs and working.”
