In addition to training in professional knowledge, Dai Nam University pays special attention to training in foreign languages, soft skills, and life attitudes to help students after graduation respond and quickly integrate into the real working environment of enterprises. Accordingly, starting from 2017, instead of writing a graduation thesis and defending it on the podium, final year students of the Faculty of Business Administration - Dai Nam University will have to participate in building and operating the Soft Skills Training project for high school students. The success of the project will be used by the Faculty as a basis for evaluating and classifying students upon graduation.

The soft skills experience program for 10,000 high school students of the Faculty of Business Administration - Dai Nam University has completed half of its journey.

With the training motto of the three legs of "Knowledge - Skills - Experience", Dai Nam University has been making every effort so that each generation of graduates can best meet the needs of society.

Following the success of 2018, the Faculty of Business Administration continues to implement the program "Soft skills experience for 10,000 high school students in 2019". Up to this point, the program has gone halfway, successfully implemented at 4 high schools including: Giap Hai High School (Bac Giang), Bac Son High School (Thai Nguyen), Tran Hung Dao High School (Ha Dong - Hanoi), Van Tao High School (Thuong Tin - Hanoi). From April 1, the project will continue to reach students of Hong Thai High School (Dan Phuong - Hanoi), Yen Dung 3 High School (Bac Giang), Chuong My A High School (Hanoi), Ha Dong High School (Hanoi) ...

The project of the students of the Faculty of Business Administration was welcomed and enthusiastically participated by high school students.

Accordingly, with the program "Soft skills experience for 10,000 high school students in 2019", final year students of the Faculty of Business Administration - Dai Nam University will not have to defend their graduation thesis on the podium.

“This is one of the breakthrough innovations in the training program of the Faculty of Business Administration in particular and Dai Nam University in general. Students will have to apply all the knowledge and skills acquired during their time at the school to build a training project. The success of the project will be used by the Faculty as a basis for evaluating and classifying students upon graduation…”, said Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal, Head of Training Department, Dai Nam University.

According to MSc. Pham Van Minh - Head of the Faculty of Business Administration, Dai Nam University, soft skills determine 75% of success. In addition to professional knowledge and foreign languages, graduates need to be good at soft skills to meet the needs of businesses and be successful in the future.

“Directly coming up with ideas, building, implementing and running a soft skills experience project will help students systematize all the knowledge they have learned in 4 years of study; test their own abilities, perfect their negotiation, communication, presentation, teamwork, conflict and crisis resolution skills... In particular, this is a practical experience that helps them gain confidence in themselves and start big projects in their lives...", Master. Pham Van Minh shared.

MSc. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Lecturer of the Faculty of Business Administration said: " The biggest wish of the School is that after 4 years of hard study, students will have enough luggage and confidence to step into the new challenging journey ahead..."

With the theme “Let's do it”, the soft skills experience program for 10,000 high school students in 2019, built by final year students of the Faculty of Business Administration - Dai Nam University, has attracted a lot of attention from teachers and students of high schools, bringing interesting and useful experiences "different from the seminars that students have participated in".

After the opening ceremony, students will experience a vibrant and engaging team building program and an “emotional room” with lessons about love for family, school, etc.
