Instructions for candidates who do not have to come to the University to withdraw their application

Acting Director of the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training) Nguyen Thi Kim Phung answered candidates' concerns and questions about whether they can change their admission wishes right at the Department of Education and Training or high school without having to go directly to the university.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Phung said : In principle, when high schools and the Department of Education and Training receive requests to change candidates' wishes, they will immediately update this information to the enrollment management software so that the data is transferred to the school that has registered for enrollment.

After the high school and the Department of Education and Training update the information on the enrollment management software , the school that is saving the candidate's registration (school A) will receive this list and remove the candidate's information from the school's registration list as in the case of a candidate coming to the school to withdraw his/her application.

When the high school and the Department of Education and Training update the information on the enrollment management software , at the same time, the school where the candidate registers next (B) also receives the candidate's enrollment information. After school A removes the candidate's name from the enrollment list, school B enters the candidate's enrollment information as if the candidate came to school B to submit the application.

Thus, if the above locations are not too crowded, the above process will be carried out immediately after the candidates request to change their registration wishes. If the above locations have many candidates coming to transact directly, the schools and departments cannot immediately carry out all the requests of many candidates at the same time.

The Ministry of Education and Training has also directed: Universities and colleges regularly update information on adjusted admission wishes sent by the Department of Education and Training to the enrollment management software system. Accordingly, schools must assign people to be on duty online regularly.
