Information on regular university admissions in 2023

The Admissions Council of Dai Nam University has just officially announced the enrollment quota and admission methods for the regular university program for the 2023-2024 school year. Accordingly, this year, the University will enroll students in 24 training majors with 04 admission methods.

4. Admission objects: Candidates graduated from high school or equivalent.

5. Admission method:

• Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the high school graduation exam results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.
• Method 2: Use the results of 03 subjects from the 12th grade high school study results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.
• Method 3: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the School.
• Method 4: Admission of foreign high school graduates.

6. Admission requirements

6.1. Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the high school graduation exam results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

Candidates whose exam results meet the quality assurance threshold prescribed by the School after receiving the 2023 high school graduation exam results, except for the Health Sector, as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.

6.2. Method 2: Use the transcript results, scores of 03 subjects from the 12th grade high school study results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

• Medicine and Pharmacy majors must have a grade 12 academic record of Excellent or a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher and a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination of ≥ 24 points.
• Nursing major must have a grade 12 academic record of Good or higher or a high school graduation score of 6.5 or higher and a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination of ≥ 19.5 points.
• For other majors: total score of 3 subjects according to admission combination ≥ 18 points.

6.3. Method 3: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the School.

In addition to the general condition that candidates must graduate from high school or equivalent, candidates must meet one of the regulations on direct admission specified in Article 8 of the University Admissions Regulations of Dai Nam University.

6.4. Method 4: Admission of foreign high school graduates.

Admission major: Medicine (50 quotas).

In addition to the general condition that candidates must graduate from high school or equivalent as above, candidates applying for admission must meet the mandatory condition of graduating from high school abroad or in Vietnam. Based on the candidate's high school study results, the Principal of Dai Nam University will consider and decide on admission.

- Tuition is collected per semester (each school year has 3 semesters).

- Tuition fees remain the same throughout the course.

9. Application documents

- Application form (according to Dai Nam University's form - download HERE );

- Original certificate of high school graduation exam results (for candidates taking the high school graduation exam in 2023);

- High school transcript (notarized copy);

- Diploma or temporary high school graduation certificate (notarized copy);

- Certified copies of priority documents (if any);

- Citizen identification card or identity card (notarized copy);

- Application fee: 50,000 VND/application.

Attention:

- In addition to registering according to the regulations of the University, all candidates applying for admission to Dai Nam University need to register their admission wishes to the University on the Admissions Portal of the Ministry of Education and Training or the National Public Service Portal according to the general plan and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

- The school will not return application documents to admitted candidates under any circumstances.

10. Time to receive application documents and application fees

For candidates graduating from 2022 or earlier: Application submission time is from the date of admission announcement.

For candidates graduating in 2023:

• Phase 1: Registration time according to the first phase enrollment schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training.
• Additional round: The school will announce details after the end of the first round of enrollment.
