In the eyes of his colleagues, he is an approachable, sociable and enthusiastic person. In the eyes of his students, he is both a friend and an older brother who can share all the joys and sorrows in life. That young man has devoted his beautiful youth to the activities of the Youth Union and student movement of Dai Nam University. He is Vu Dang Tuan Anh - an officer of the Student Management Department and Deputy Secretary of the University Youth Union.
First experiences
In 2011, a male student from Tran Hung Dao High School (Nam Dinh) had a chance to study at Dai Nam University when he accidentally read the admission information on the school's website. The first time he set foot in the school at Vu Trong Phung campus, Tuan Anh fell in love with Dai Nam University at first sight. The young man felt an atmosphere filled with faith and hope at this school. " I will definitely be able to do something here, " Tuan Anh thought to himself.
At the first meeting with class KT 05-01, Tuan Anh participated in the election for the position of Secretary of the Youth Union. Being shy and timid, he had to gather all his courage and bravery to carry out his "election campaign". The handsome new student overcame himself and became Secretary of the Youth Union of KT 05-01, Faculty of Accounting, school year 2011-2015.

As a student, Tuan Anh often participated in volunteer activities organized by the School Youth Union.

During his student years, in addition to theoretical lessons in class, time for practice and real life, the secretary spent time participating in the Union activities and student movements of the University. Tuan Anh's first lesson about Union work at Dai Nam University came from the camp celebrating the school's 5th anniversary. "I was the leader but had no experience so I encountered many difficulties. The first problem was designing the camp gate, which made me ponder for a few days. Luckily, after discussing with my teammates and dividing the work appropriately for each person, everything went more smoothly," Tuan Anh recalled.
Even now, when he has become a student manager and Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union at Dai Nam University, Tuan Anh still remembers the lesson about teamwork at that time.
Extending "fate" with Dai Nam University
Tuan Anh never thought that he would have the opportunity to continue working at the school after graduation. However, the Board of Directors' offer to stay and work at the school helped the young man extend his "fate" with Dai Nam. The thought of doing something for the school appeared in the thoughts of the Accounting bachelor as soon as he stepped foot in the school. In November 2015, Tuan Anh decided to accept the offer to work at the Student Management Office.
Talking about the student and later employee of the school, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa, the school's vice principal, shared: "When I accepted him to stay at the school to continue working as a student manager, in addition to the fact that he was an excellent former student of the school, my impression was of a very responsible boy. I still remember that day when I had just arrived at the school gate, he (a freshman who had just arrived at the school) accidentally opened the taxi door, causing a senior student to fall. I witnessed from beginning to end, he and the school nurse took care of and worried about the victim until the end, even though the injury was not too serious!..."
Becoming a student manager and Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, Tuan Anh was able to immerse himself in student movements. “Working with students, I realized that this job is very suitable for me. I learned a lot from Dai Nam students. It is a lesson about initiative, creativity, enthusiasm, and personality,” Tuan Anh shared.

For Tuan Anh, Dai Nam students bring special experiences in student management as well as Union activities.

After nearly 3 years of working with students and Union activities at Dai Nam University, Tuan Anh has matured a lot, no longer being shy and selfish like before. The young cadre is increasingly independent and receives trust from his family, colleagues and generations of students at the school.
Always thinking that “Dai Nam has given me the opportunity to study, work and stay, I must do something worthy of the trust and expectations of the University”, the young man is determined to devote his beautiful youth to the activities of the Union and student movement of Dai Nam University. “If Dai Nam still needs me, I will continue to contribute” , Tuan Anh affirmed.
