I started my student life at Dai Nam University like that…

“Everyone has the most beautiful time of their youth. In that youth, every place we go and experience has its own meaning, each has its own goals to strive for throughout the student years. That wish became a reality when the gate of Dai Nam University opened wide to welcome me in September 2021. It was the first day I stepped into a new door to develop my dreams and ambitions.”

Those are the sincere confessions from first-year student Do Ngoc Son - Deputy Head of TA 15-01 class, who spent 6 months studying and experiencing at the English Language Department of Dai Nam University.

For Ngoc Son, the new school year 2021-2022 is very special because this is the first time he meets new friends and teachers through a computer screen. However, he is still very happy because he has made good friends and has a very thoughtful and enthusiastic homeroom teacher.

Fun online lessons…

Although studying 100% online from the very beginning, Ngoc Son quickly got used to it and was elected as a class officer by his classmates. “Our lessons are very lively and valuable because the knowledge and the way teachers convey the lesson content are easy to understand and help me remember deeply. The English lessons are exciting, with many activities that involve both learning and playing, helping us absorb knowledge very naturally. The teachers' teaching methods are also very different from high school, like blowing a spark to ignite daily foreign language practice,” Son confided.

Although the TA 15-01 class has never met each other in person, they are always united and enthusiastic in studying and participating in movement activities.

Ngoc Son also shared that he himself had to explore and learn new knowledge because the knowledge at university is very broad and there are many new things. However, being taught by enthusiastic teachers and asking questions from classmates, Son felt more motivated to strive to study harder. Ngoc Son himself was also very eager to go to school to see the school he was studying at.

Exciting movement activities…

Besides studying, Ngoc Son himself is also very active in participating in extracurricular activities and school movements such as Welcoming new students of K15, Photo contest "the 15th icon", ... and feels very happy and more mature after the programs.

Ever since he was a freshman in K15, Ngoc Son has actively learned about the school's clubs and wanted to join the clubs he loves. With his natural talent for singing and dancing, Ngoc Son hopes to perform on the Dai Nam stage. He also hopes that the school and the faculty will have more extracurricular programs so that he can have more opportunities to interact and share with his friends.

When asked about his future plans, TA15-01's deputy class monitor hopes to study well and develop his skills, and then fulfill his dream of studying abroad in Australia. Entering the university, Ngoc Son promised himself that he would try to learn, accumulate knowledge, and enthusiastically participate in activities to overcome all challenges. Hopefully, the "home" called the Faculty of English will be the support for Ngoc Son to conquer his dream!
