“I choose – I succeed” was the main topic in the meeting of new students of Chinese Language – Faculty of Language and Cultural Studies that took place on the morning of September 20 at Dai Nam University.
In the bustling atmosphere of the first days of school in September, Dai Nam University has organized many meaningful events for teachers and new students of K12. These activities are part of the series of events of the civic week at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year of the University.
On the morning of September 20, Dai Nam University continued to organize a meeting for new students of the Chinese Language Department - Faculty of Language and Cultural Studies. At the meeting, the new students were introduced by the Faculty leaders about the history and tradition of the Faculty; training programs; job opportunities; and future development trends of the Chinese Language Department.
Dr. Nguyen Kien Trung - Head of the Faculty of Linguistics and Cultural Studies said: “With the attention of the school's leaders, the Faculty of Linguistics and Cultural Studies is growing stronger and stronger, affirming its training reputation with society. The Faculty has trained generations of students with good expertise and skills, especially many alumni of the Faculty are currently working and holding important positions in large organizations and corporations at home and abroad”.
In particular, in the intimate meeting at the beginning of the school year, new students majoring in Chinese Language were shared experiences and effective foreign language learning methods in the era of technology 4.0 by Prof. Nguyen Lan Dung - Member of the National Council for Education and Human Resources Development, Member of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association, and given useful advice in studying as well as in life. The warm and useful sharing of Prof. Nguyen Lan Dung is the motivation to help new students love the major, love the profession and confidently affirm "I choose - I succeed"...

Also at the meeting, Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of Dai Nam University sent his congratulations and warm welcome to the new students of the K12 Language major. "You will certainly have wonderful and extremely useful youth experiences in 4 years of studying and training under the roof of the beloved Dai Nam University. Once again, on behalf of the University, I would like to love and welcome all the new students of the Chinese Language major - Faculty of Language and Cultural Studies...", Dr. Luong Cao Dong said.
Professor Nguyen Lan Dung took a souvenir photo with teachers and students of Chinese Language Department - Faculty of Linguistics and Cultural Studies , Dai Nam University.
In order to help new students have an effective learning orientation and grasp the best career opportunities after graduation, MSc. Tran Thi Thanh Liem - lecturer of Chinese Language also gave her new students sincere and dedicated advice: "Only when you have the right learning attitude, effective learning methods and determine the right future career direction can you reach success in the future."
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Quyen - representative of the Faculty's Parents' Association sent her sincere thanks to the attention of the School's leaders and the Faculty's leaders. "There are still many prejudices in society between public and private schools. However, before deciding to send our children to study in a non-public university environment, we had to do a very thorough research. In my opinion, public or private schools are not the problem, the important thing is whether the learning environment is professional, modern and creates excitement for students or not. We believe that Dai Nam University is the right choice," Ms. Minh Quyen shared.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Quyen - representative of the Faculty's Parents' Association sent her sincere thanks to the attention of the School's leaders and the Faculty's leaders. "There are still many prejudices in society between public and private schools. However, before deciding to send our children to study in a non-public university environment, we had to do a very thorough research. In my opinion, public or private schools are not the problem, the important thing is whether the learning environment is professional, modern and creates excitement for students or not. We believe that Dai Nam University is the right choice," Ms. Minh Quyen shared.

On this occasion, the Faculty leaders also had the opportunity to exchange, listen to the sharing and answer the students' questions about the opportunities for studying and exchanging domestically and internationally. Hopefully, with 4 years of studying at Dai Nam, the students will truly mature, master skills, and be good at their profession to join the core workforce of society, contributing to the development of society and strengthening the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China.
