Questions about choosing subjects? Opportunities to study at Police or Military schools? If the exam cluster is overloaded, will I have to change my application? Where can I apply for a 12th grader?...
Question: I graduated from high school a few years ago, now I want to take the university entrance exam, what should I do? Do I have to take 4 subjects? ( yennhu89@yahoo.com )
*Reply:
This year, only Hanoi National University will hold its own entrance exam. Other schools will consider admission based on the results of the national high school exam.
To be able to participate in the entrance exam to universities and colleges, you must register for the national high school exam. Since you have graduated from high school, you only need to register for the combination of subjects that the school you are taking the exam for admission. For example: If you want to apply for the Foreign Economics major at Hanoi Foreign Trade University, you only need to register for the subjects Math, Physics, Chemistry or Math, Physics, Foreign Language (for this major, the school considers a combination of 3 subjects from groups A and D).
I am in grade 12 and have registered for the preliminary selection for the People's Police School, I also registered for the preliminary selection for the Military School. If after taking the 2015 National High School Exam, I find that my score is low, and the police and military schools have not announced the minimum score, and I have not yet known my score, can I withdraw my application from the People's Police School to apply to another Military School? ( phuocvungoc997@gmail.com )
You should note that for the public security and military schools, passing the preliminary selection is a condition for you to be allowed to use the results of the national high school exam to apply for admission to these schools.
The application will only be processed when the results of the national high school exam are available. You are allowed to use this result to apply to the school you wish to apply to. If you think you do not have enough points to be admitted to the People's Police School, you are completely allowed to use the result to apply to the military school, provided that you have passed the preliminary selection before.
I have an 18 year old boyfriend who weighs over 60kg and is in good health and is planning to join the army. But when he went for a medical examination, they only looked at his household registration and found it unsuitable so they did not allow him to take the exam. I want to know more about the conditions for joining the army? ( trantieuyen210@gmail.com )
You can see information about the military entrance exam requirements in the article "Requirements for admission to military schools" .
I am an independent candidate. I studied high school in Quang Ngai but currently live in Hue, and I also want to take the exam in Hue, so where do I need to get the confirmation stamp? ( lananhphanth@gmail.com )
In principle, the confirmation of the application is confirmed by the local authority where you have permanent residence. Since you are an independent candidate, after getting the confirmation stamp from the local authority, you are allowed to submit the application for the university entrance exam in Hue.
I am a self-study candidate who has graduated. I wish to register for the exam at the Thuy Loi University exam cluster. However, I have a question: If there are too many people registering for the exam at Thuy Loi University, will the exam cluster meet the demand? Is there a story that if the application is submitted late, will it be transferred to another exam cluster or does it always depend on the candidate's wishes? ( dangthai1994@gmail.com )
The issue you raised is being carefully considered by the Ministry of Education and Training. According to the Advisory Board, for Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the Ministry of Education and Training will base on the registration documents of candidates to calculate the appropriate exam clusters. The principle is that each exam cluster has about 30,000 to 40,000 candidates. Independent candidates are allowed to choose the exam cluster that suits their conditions, so you do not need to worry.
I have permanent residence in Hung Yen province but I am studying high school at a private high school in Hanoi. So where should I register for the 2015 national high school exam, and where will I take the exam? When applying for university and college in 2015, will I get priority for regional scores? ( ngocnhuong70@gmail.com )
I am in grade 12 so I will submit my application to my high school. Regional priority points are calculated based on the household registration of the high school I am attending. If my school is located in Zone 3, I will not have priority points.
The Ministry of Education and Training plans to allow schools to proactively choose the method of admission: organizing entrance exams or considering admission based on the results of the national high school exam or combining both methods. So I would like to ask if Hanoi University of Industry will conduct college-university admission this year in the form of organizing entrance exams or considering admission based on the results of the national high school exam or combining both methods? ( hoan273@gmail.com )
Because the Ministry of Education and Training has just drafted the method of joint enrollment, schools do not have a specific plan yet. Only when the amendment and supplement are officially issued will schools have specific announcements on the method of joint enrollment.
According to information received by the Advisory Board, most schools will choose the method of organizing entrance exams to take the initiative. Hanoi University of Industry is likely to choose this method to implement.
I graduated from high school in 2014, this year I want to take the university entrance exam, I registered for the upcoming national exam including 4 subjects: Math, Chemistry, Biology, Literature. The school I plan to take the exam is Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine, majoring in medicine, the subjects to take the exam are: Math, Literature, Biology; Hanoi University of Agriculture, the 2 majors I choose are plant science and agronomy, the subjects to take the exam are: Math, Chemistry, Biology. So I want to ask if I can apply for all 3 majors at the 2 schools mentioned above? ( khoanglangtrongtim.eya@gmail.com )
Regarding the 2015 university and college admissions, you need to pay special attention: Each candidate is given 4 certificates, one NV1 admission certificate and 3 certificates for additional NV admission.
NV1 admission certificate can only be submitted to one school and you are allowed to register for a maximum of 4 majors at this school. During the NV1 admission period, if you think you may not be accepted, you are allowed to withdraw your application and apply to another school.
So, if you are in NV1, you can only apply to the Vietnam University of Traditional Medicine or Hanoi University of Agriculture. You cannot apply to both schools at the same time. If you choose to apply for NV1 at the University of Agriculture, you can completely apply to both the Crop Science and Agronomy majors at the same time.
If you fail NV1, you will be allowed to use the supplementary admission certificate to apply for admission. In the supplementary wish, you are allowed to use all 3 papers to apply to 3 different schools in one admission round, however, you will not be allowed to withdraw your application during the admission period.
Hanoi National University has its own admissions system. I would like to ask if I take the exam and pass, can I take the national exam and apply to other schools? ( laiquelien310197@gmail.com )
This is completely allowed. Because the National University exam does not coincide with the National High School Exam, you still have the opportunity to register for the National High School Exam to get the results for admission to other universities.
