“Where there is a need for youth, there is youth for every difficult task”. Every time Youth Month comes, the lyrics of the song resound with great heroism, emotion, urging, inspiring many hearts to continue their youthful journey. Responding to Youth Month, celebrating the 88th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26, Dai Nam University Youth Union has recently successfully organized the Traditional Camping Program - Youth with green living with the message “green living for a peaceful future”. Besides the youth activities with green living, there is an activity to summarize and commend collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Youth Union activities in the 2018 - 2019 school year.

The Dai Nam University Student Volunteer Team is one of the core units, pioneering in the movement and volunteer activities for the community and society of the University.

With the desire to contribute, join hands and convey meaningful messages to the social community; create a healthy living environment, bring useful practical experiences to students, the Dai Nam University Student Volunteer Team was established.

Sharing with us, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal, Head of Movement Department, Dai Nam University said: "After 12 years of formation and development, Dai Nam University's youth has proven its maturity and strength by being the core unit of the University Youth Union, always pioneering in movement activities, volunteering for the school's community... Each member of the team is an excellent student in studying, dynamic, enthusiastic and has a high sense of responsibility..."

Not only conveying humane and meaningful messages to the social community, Dai Nam University Student Volunteer Team is also a "common home" for all students in the school, helping to unite members, educate awareness, responsibility and help young people learn lessons about empathy, love and sharing in life.

“7 Green Summers, 4 Warm Winters, 6 Traditional Camping Seasons, 6 Years of Cleaning and Collecting Public Waste, 8 Seasons of Gratitude Cakes, Hundreds of Blood Donation Days, Exam Support Campaigns… and many other meaningful activities have helped the children grow up a lot. They know how to sympathize, love, and share with those less fortunate than themselves; know what is right and what is wrong, thereby living more responsibly towards themselves, their families, and the community – society…” Ms. Cao Thi Hoa confided.

Sharing with us, MSc. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Secretary of the Youth Union of Dai Nam University said: " Any activity or event of the Youth Union of Dai Nam University always has the presence of the green volunteer shirt. The members of the Team are always enthusiastic and ready to devote themselves from the preparation stage until the end."

This is the main, core team, contributing from AZ to all activities and events of the school..." - Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Secretary of the Youth Union of Dai Nam University said.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa and Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong awarded the Outstanding Collective Award 2018-2019 to the Student Volunteer team.

During the night honoring individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in Youth Union activities in the series of traditional camping activities "Youth with green living", DNU Student Volunteer Team was honored as a group with outstanding achievements in movement and volunteer work in the 2018-2019 school year.

During the "Youth with Green Living" Camping Night, the Board of Directors and the Youth Union awarded certificates of merit to 21 individuals who are volunteer students and youth volunteers with excellent achievements in the 2018-2019 school year.

Dr. Luong Cao Dong and Master Nguyen Viet Anh presented certificates of merit to 21 individuals with the best achievements in 2018-2019.

In addition, the Green Summer Campaign 2018 in Ngai Thau - Bat Xat - Lao Cai has left many deep impressions on the people here. Contributing to that success, are the efforts of volunteer students. At the ceremony, the School Board decided to award certificates of merit to 6 individuals who contributed to the success of the campaign.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Secretary of Dai Nam University Youth Union awarded certificates of merit to individuals with high achievements in the 2018-2019 green summer campaign.

At the honor night, student Pham Van Quoc Hung - Captain of the Dai Nam University Volunteer Student Team shared: “ We thank the Board of Directors, the Board of Management, and the Executive Committee of the University Youth Union for trusting us with this important task and responsibility. We promise to continue to contribute so that our youth will always be in tune with the heartbeat of Dai Nam University…”

Under the direction of the school, the Youth Union and the Volunteer Student Team of Dai Nam University are continuing their 12-year journey of dedication and love through meaningful activities, imbued with humanity and having a profound influence on the community, following the slogan "wherever there is a need, there is youth, wherever there is difficulty, there is youth".
