These students will take the exam at the exam cluster hosted by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. The remaining students who register for the exam with two purposes at the same time: to graduate from high school and to enroll in university or college will take the exam at the exam clusters hosted by the universities.

The Department of Education and Training said: The number of students taking the exam at 8 exam clusters organized by universities in Hanoi. Accordingly, there are 4 exam clusters with the number of students registering for the exam at over 10,000 candidates, ranked from top to bottom including: Hanoi Pedagogical University, Military Technical Academy, Water Resources University and Hanoi University of Industry.

Exam cluster No. 1: Hanoi University of Science and Technology, including the following localities: Hanoi City: Hoang Mai District, Hoan Kiem District; Nam Dinh Province: Nam Dinh City and the following districts: Y Yen, Vu Ban, My Loc, Nam Truc and Nghia Hung.

Exam cluster 2: National Economics University, including the following localities: Hanoi City: Hai Ba Trung District, Thanh Tri District, Phu Xuyen District and Thuong Tin District; Nam Dinh Province, including the following districts: Xuan Truong and Giao Thuy.

Exam cluster 3: Thuyloi University, including the following localities: Hanoi City: Dong Da District, Thanh Xuan District, Ha Dong District and Thanh Oai District; Ha Nam Province: Phu Ly City and the following districts: Ly Nhan, Kim Bang.
