Hanoi Lung Hospital and Dai Nam University have officially signed a partnership agreement to train a high-quality healthcare workforce. This event marks a significant step forward in developing medical student generations with strong expertise, excellent skills, and high ethical standards, meeting the growing healthcare needs of the community.

Under the signed agreement, Hanoi Lung Hospital will officially serve as a practical training facility for medical students at Dai Nam University, in addition to the university's other top-tier partner hospitals such as: Saint Paul's General Hospital, Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital, Ha Dong Hospital, Viet Duc Hospital, Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital, and Ha Dong Traditional Medicine Hospital,...

The two parties have agreed to center the training around the students and train students according to their competencies; work closely to develop programs, plans, organize practical training, and assess the results. Students will be guided by a team of Professors, Associate Professors, Doctors, and Specialists I and II.

Dr. Doctor. Hoang Van Huan, Deputy Director of the hospital, pledged to support and create favorable conditions for Dai Nam University medical students during their internships. He also expressed a desire to collaborate further with the university in scientific research and training to produce high-quality healthcare professionals.

Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong, Vice Rector of Dai Nam University, emphasized: “Medicine is a field directly related to human health and lives. Without quality training and strong connections with hospitals and real-world practice, we will produce low-quality doctors. With the support of Hanoi Lung Hospital, we are confident that students will gain real-world exposure, improve their skills, and develop comprehensively.”

People's Doctor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Duc Hanh, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, shared that the Faculty has established a detailed internship plan, allowing students to “stay at the hospital” throughout the day, participate in night shifts, holidays, and leave days. This will provide more practical learning opportunities and additional teaching time for doctors.

“We hope that the doctors will support Dai Nam University students as their own family members, guiding them to become talented, knowledgeable, skilled professionals…” People’s Doctor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Duc Hanh said.

This partnership marks the beginning of an exciting new phase in the development of high-quality healthcare professionals, integrating theoretical learning with practical experience and strengthening the “Hospital-School” relationship.
