Green Summer Journey: Paying tribute to families of war invalids and martyrs in Ngoc Khe

In the rice fields in the planting season, the green of young rice seedlings blends with the green of the Dai Nam “green shirt soldiers” on the fields and roads in Ngoc Khe commune - Ngoc Lac - Thanh Hoa. The Dai Nam green volunteer team has had activities to show gratitude to the families of war invalids and martyrs who have contributed to the revolution in Ngoc Lac on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

During the green summer journey from July 14-28, the Dai Nam volunteer team, together with the Youth Union of Ngoc Khe commune, carried out meaningful volunteer activities to help the local people.

From July 15-20, after many volunteer activities: "cleaning village roads, alleys, improving the environment, dredging canals, building dykes, repairing houses to help people, showing movies, giving gifts to children, organizing summer camps, cultural exchanges with young people in the commune... On July 21, the whole team started to prepare for activities on July 27. Vu Dang Tuan Anh - Team leader of the volunteer student team said: " During these days, the team will continue to clean up the martyrs' cemetery, visit families of policy beneficiaries, war invalids, martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers and prepare for the incense offering ceremony".

The green color of Dai Nam volunteer is present on all the roads of Ngoc Khe commune.

On the morning of July 22, Dai Nam Volunteer Team visited, encouraged and gave gifts to 5 families of policy beneficiaries, families of war invalids and martyrs, and heroic Vietnamese mothers.
