The Nighttime Charity Gift Distribution Program for the homeless and the working poor is the main activity of the Night Corner group. The charity group members will distribute gifts to each person and ask about their health, see if they need medicine, blankets, or clothes.
Every charity trip, you take pictures and keep them.
The group usually organizes 5 to 7 motorbikes, each with 2 people. Usually, the members will gather at 9pm and depart at 10pm, finishing around 2am when it is almost dawn. Each overnight charity trip, the group members will follow a specific route, and bring gifts directly to people in difficult circumstances.
Give gifts and ask about health
Nguyen Quang Thang - Leader of the Dark Corner group said: “No one of us does these programs just to pass the course, everyone who joins the group is someone who has and wants to contribute their small efforts to do what can help the community. We are just small individuals coming together, out there are many miserable, unfortunate lives that no one has helped them. Instead of sitting and waiting for a miracle, let's join hands to help them as soon as possible.”
Each member of the group respects the opinions of others by encouraging and supporting each other, making efforts to make them come true, and working together to achieve the set goals.
Deliver gifts to the homeless
Seeing people in difficult circumstances receiving gifts from the charity group, constantly thanking and smiling happily, every member of the group felt warm in their hearts.
For each member of the group, “Giving means receiving”. This is an action of great significance to the community and society. The gifts, though small in material terms, have helped the poor feel warm-hearted to continue on the journey ahead.
