With the spirit of “More than just numbers” – accounting is not just dry numbers, those who study and work in accounting are also very dynamic, creative, confident and enthusiastic people, the Future Accountant contest season 1 has ended successfully. The contest not only brings students in the economic sector a lot of useful professional knowledge but also is a playground for young people to connect and practice soft skills to better understand and love the “difficult profession” – the profession that creates trust for businesses.

With the spirit of “More than just numbers” – accounting is not just dry numbers, those who study and work in accounting are also very dynamic, creative, confident and enthusiastic people, the Future Accountant contest season 1 has ended successfully. The contest not only brings students in the economic sector a lot of useful professional knowledge but also is a playground for young people to connect and practice soft skills to better understand and love the “difficult profession” – the profession that creates trust for businesses.

Just a short time after launching, the Future Accountant contest has attracted hundreds of students majoring in economics to participate.

The Future Accountant Contest is hosted by the Accounting Club - Faculty of Accounting, Dai Nam University. The contest was officially launched in mid-May 2020. After a short time, the Future Accountant Contest has attracted the attention and participation of more than 100 students in the economic sector.

The Future Accountant Competition will become an annual competition of the Faculty of Accounting.

The competition focuses on 05 main contents, including: Enterprise Law, Accounting Law, Principles of Economic Statistics, Principles of Accounting and Soft Skills. These contents are reproduced through 4 competitions: "Who are we?"; "Golden Bell"; "Accounting Black Box" and "Shining Talent".

The contestants were confident and excited about the team introduction round - Who are we?

In each round, candidates must apply their professional knowledge, teamwork skills, thinking and reasoning abilities to overcome challenges, conquer knowledge in the fields of finance and economics in general and accounting and auditing in particular, and practice self-confidence, develop potential to become a good economist and accountant with good moral qualities in the future.

Although many of the contestants are only first-year students, they all showed confidence, dynamism and professionalism in the competition.

After 4 extremely dramatic rounds, the Organizing Committee has found the best teams to award First - Second - Third and Encouragement prizes. In addition to the prize value of money and gifts, the teams also received certificates from the Organizing Committee.

Dr. Le The Anh – Head of the Faculty of Accounting shared: “In recent years, the Faculty of Accounting in particular and Dai Nam University in general have been making great efforts to create a dynamic, modern and professional learning environment for students. Playgrounds like this are not only an environment for students to improve their knowledge and practice their skills, but also an opportunity for them to exchange, learn, increase their passion for learning, scientific research and form a positive attitude towards life…”

The Golden Bell round is exciting and dramatic.

Evaluating the Future Accountant contest, Dao Thi Nhu Quynh - student of class KT12-01 said: “ Today’s Future Accountant contest helps us learn a lot of interesting and useful knowledge. Organizing the contest like this helps us students have the opportunity to exchange, learn and express ourselves. I hope that in the future, the faculty and the school will continue to organize intellectual playgrounds like this so that students can participate more…”

Candidates confidently answer situational questions from the judges.

Do Thi Ha - student of class KT12-01 also could not hide her excitement when coming to the contest: "The contest not only helps us improve our professional knowledge but is also an opportunity to practice soft skills such as: teamwork skills, presentation skills, solidarity, confidence in front of a crowd..."

MSc. Han Thi Thuy Linh - Deputy Head of Accounting Department awarded the Encouragement Prize to the 2 teams.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan - lecturer of the Faculty of Accounting awarded the third prize to the Diamond team.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Secretary of the School Youth Union awarded the Second Prize to the "Inheritance" team.

Dr. Le The Anh awarded the first prize to the "Eagle" team.

Ms. Vu Thi Mai Nhi - lecturer of the Faculty of Accounting gave gifts to the remaining teams.

Candidates receive certificates of participation in the Future Accountant competition from the Organizing Committee.
