I am a former student of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. In their lectures, my teachers often talked about the outstanding children of Hanoi University of Science and Technology. One of them is Mr. Le Dac Son (President of Dai Nam University), an outstanding former student of the University, who spent many years standing on the podium at the University of Science and Technology. Since my student days, I have admired examples like Mr. Son. And the dream of becoming a university lecturer has been burning in me since then...
My first impression of Dai Nam was that the working environment and colleagues were very friendly and open. Each individual was given the opportunity to debate, speak up and develop their own ideas if they were beneficial to the group.
The first job I was assigned when I came to Dai Nam was to take on the role of homeroom teacher for the 9th course of the Faculty of International Business. Unlike other schools, the work of a homeroom teacher at Dai Nam is quite hard (the school's policy is to treat students like children, to be close to them, encourage them to share their studies and their lives), but that also creates a rather interesting feeling for young teachers like us. Through this job, I have the opportunity to interact more with students and experience movement activities with them. Movement activities are also a difference between Dai Nam and other schools. On each occasion of movement activities such as March 26, November 20... teachers and students join together in events. At that time, the distance between teachers and students is very close.
I have been fulfilling my dream of standing on the podium since I was a student. For me, being able to do the job I love and love the job I do is a blessing. Thank you Dai Nam for helping me realize my dream...
