From the 2021-2022 school year, FIT-DNU's IT training program will change to suit the trend of university digital transformation. The training program is designed to be streamlined and improved, continuing to focus on practical requirements and developing quality to anticipate modern trends. Specifically:
- From the first year to the fourth year, each week, students have an internship of 8 hours a day following a process with actual work content similar to that in a business.
- Students have an overview of the IT industry in different fields, have a passion for the profession and have some basic programming skills to be able to work in businesses right from the first year.
After more than a decade of construction and development, the Faculty of Information Technology, Dai Nam University has attracted thousands of students.

7. What is different about the teaching methods of DNU IT faculty compared to other schools?
Most training institutions today teach IT from basics to skills, then to systems. FIT-DNU is the opposite. Students start with real systems, then delve into the components. FIT-DNU focuses on practical training.
8. Should girls study IT?
The IT field does not discriminate between men and women. There are many powerful and famous female IT figures in the world such as Sheryl Sandberg, CEO of Facebook, Maryssa Mayer, former CEO of Yahoo, etc. Many career positions in the IT field are suitable for women such as Web programming design, software testing, database administration, software quality assurance, IT administration, etc.
The reality of enrollment at DNU in recent years shows that the number of female students studying in the IT industry accounts for a high proportion. Many female students have good academic results, even higher than male students.

With the new training program, DNU IT students can work in businesses after completing their first year.
11. What are the current job opportunities in the IT industry?
Currently, there is a shortage of IT human resources all over the world. The immediate need in Vietnam is to add about half a million more human resources, far exceeding the capacity of universities. Therefore, IT is the easiest industry to find a job, with a relatively high salary, stable and increasing very quickly after a few years of experience.
With the new training program, opportunities will increase significantly, as FIT-DNU partner companies will recruit from the second year onwards for their development projects.
