Nursing is a field of study with great potential and many opportunities for development in the future. According to the 2009 Health Statistics Yearbook, Vietnam has 75,891 nurses, accounting for 45% of the professional human resources of the health sector, this is a force that plays a very important role in the health care industry.

The uneven and diverse development of the Nursing industry in the process of regional and international integration will inevitably lead to the need to standardize the training system, standardize the qualifications of Nurses to facilitate the movement of nursing natural persons and mutual recognition of nursing qualifications among ASEAN countries.

In 2019, Dai Nam University enrolls full-time Nursing students through two admission methods:

Admission method 1: Admission of high school graduates based on the results of the national high school exam at the exam clusters chaired by the Universities; Based on the results of the national high school exam, the Admissions Council of Dai Nam University will determine the quality assurance threshold and publicly announce it after the Ministry of Education and Training announces the quality assurance threshold for the pedagogical and health sectors .

Admission method 2: Admission of high school graduates based on high school academic results with the following conditions:

- The total score of three subjects according to the exam block of the 12th grade for candidates applying for university admission must be 18.0 points or higher, Pharmacy must be 24 points or higher, Nursing must be 19.5 points or higher. At the same time, it must meet the quality assurance threshold and ensure the requirements according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; .
