This morning (July 1), more than 1 million candidates took the National High School Exam with the Math exam in the form of an essay, with a duration of 180 minutes. In the hot weather, many candidates strained themselves to take the first exam.

In Hanoi, there are 8 examination locations hosted by local universities, and 1 examination cluster hosted by the Department of Education and Training with a total of more than 12,000 candidates participating.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, at the location of Thuy Loi University (Tay Son, Dong Da, Hanoi), candidates were present at the exam location very early,

Every time I take an exam, it takes me the first 15 minutes to regain my composure before I can do the test. I have applied for admission to Hanoi Law University in History and Geography."

In particular, there was a case where she took her child to the wrong exam location. The parent of candidate Nguyen Thi Thanh Thu (taking the exam at Thuy Loi University) took her to the wrong location and had to ask the security force to find her when she realized. She said, "Yesterday, when I was doing the exam procedures, I took my child to the wrong University of Trade Unions. Today, I went to the University of Trade Unions to look for her but couldn't find her. Now, I can only stand here and ask the security force to find her and bring her down here so that I and my family in the countryside can rest assured."

Although the exam regulations had been announced, there was still a candidate who arrived late at the "forbidden" time of 7:54.
