Famous businesses, KOLs, and KOCs "land" at Dai Nam University to "kick-off" the 2024 Digital Business Breakthrough competition

The Digital Business Innovation Challenge 2024 (DBIC) organized by the Faculty of E-Commerce and Digital Economy (E-Commerce & Digital Economy) of Dai Nam University in collaboration with Eco Academy has just officially kicked off. The competition aims to nurture and foster business projects based on e-commerce applications and digital platforms; creating opportunities for students to demonstrate their business ability in the field of digital business. The event attracted many large enterprises, famous KOLs, KOCs and students from universities and academies in the North.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hong: “Not only limited to Dai Nam University, DBIC 2024 also attracts a large number of students from universities in the North. This shows the attraction and importance of the competition in the context of digital transformation. At the same time, it is proof of the right training direction, closely following the practical needs of DNU”.

Mr. Tran Van Trong - General Secretary of Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) commented that DBIC 2024 is an attractive playground for students to demonstrate their talents, combining learned knowledge with dynamic business practices.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quan - Founder of Eco Academy commits to accompany DNU in all training activities; bringing knowledge and practical experience for young people to learn, create and succeed.

Representatives of the Organizing Committee, judges, mentors, KOLs and KOCs pressed the button to open the first season of the Digital Business Breakthrough competition.

At the program, young people had the opportunity to interact and fuel their enthusiasm with representatives of businesses, KOLs, and KOCs.

Faced with the concern of “having many ideas but not daring to implement them because you don’t know where to start” , the speakers all encouraged: Start with what you are talented at and good at; turn ideas on paper into action. Dare to think, dare to do to orient the path.

The speakers also emphasized: It doesn't matter whether the group has many or few members. What matters is the ability to measure the workload, multitasking skills and working capacity. From there, there is a suitable division and brings high efficiency to the work.

Ms. Nguyen Thai Ha - CEO JOHN HUNT was impressed with DNU's practical training motto "Bringing students to businesses, welcoming businesses to school; ensuring that all knowledge and skills of students are linked to businesses".

Thung Long Family – Tiktok Content Creator affirms that DBIC 2024 is an opportunity for young people to turn ideas into action; learn and connect with leading experts in the field.

Hot Tiktoker Pham Vinh believes that DNU students will not only succeed at DBIC but can also "win big" on digital platforms.

Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Duc Thao - Head of the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology said: The Faculty will continue to organize academic competitions, seminars, and conferences so that students can "upgrade" their knowledge and skills; and expand opportunities to connect with businesses.

Things to know about DBIC 2024

About the topic: the contest has 03 fields: E-commerce, Digital business ideas, Digital Marketing.

Time: from March 23 to June 7, 2024

The competition rules include 03 rounds:

• Open round: Teams submit viral videos presenting their views on a digital business issue (maximum 5 minutes).
• Semi-final round: Teams receive 1-1 coaching to complete their projects, develop practical ideas, and pitch to judges and investors.
• Final round: Teams are coached to complete their projects, call for investment and present their projects.

• 01 Second Prize: 10 million VND
• 01 Third Prize: 5 million VND
• 02 Promising Prizes: 2 million VND/prize.
• 01 Best Individual Prize: 01 million VND
