Faculty of Tourism Student Scientific Research Conference 2021-2022 school year: Many creative and highly applicable topics

13 scientific reports with many creative, practical and highly applicable topics were approved and presented to the council.
The 2021-2022 Student Scientific Research Conference of the Faculty of Tourism aims to promote the scientific research movement of students . Scientific research not only helps students develop their intelligence, creativity, ability to access and gradually master science and technology, enhance their self-study and research abilities, but also helps them have scientific thinking methods and working styles, as a basis for improving their qualifications and professional working capacity in job positions after graduation.
Attending the conference were MSc. Pham Thi Thu Hien - Deputy Head of the Department of Science Management and Development Cooperation, Dr. Hoang Tran Dong - Head of the Faculty of Tourism; MSc. Tran Sy Nguyen - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Tourism, along with the staff, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Tourism, Dai Nam University.

This year, the conference attracted nearly 30 research papers. The submitted papers demonstrated the investment and seriousness of the students of the Faculty of Tourism. The organizing committee selected 13 scientific reports of the highest quality and most profound social significance to present.
The topics reported in the Conference are divided into groups according to 3 topics: Group of topics studying career orientation issues and factors affecting career choice of students of the Faculty of Tourism, Dai Nam University; Group of topics studying issues related to learning activities of students of the Faculty of Tourism, Dai Nam University; Group of topics studying issues on development of products, services, types and trends of tourism development.

At the Conference, students presented, discussed, and debated openly and frankly on many issues such as: "The current situation of developing professional hotel skills for students of the Faculty of Tourism, Dai Nam University", "Applying ROI-ROE-ROA in hotel management of the Faculty of Tourism", "Analyzing the impact of social networks on consumer behavior of tourists", "Tourism stimulus activities after the Covid-19 pandemic. A practical study in Da Nang city" ...
Students do not hesitate to criticize both the specific situations of their faculty as well as the macro issues of the country.
It can be seen that the topics presented at the Conference are very close to reality, providing more multi-dimensional perspectives on the tourism industry, especially when this "smokeless industry" is gradually recovering after two years of being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This proves the timeliness of students of the Faculty of Tourism, Dai Nam University with current topics, closely following information about the field of study they are pursuing.

Evaluating this year’s conference, Dr. Hoang Tran Dong said: “The topics are all practical and have the ability to be applied in practice. Students do scientific research reports very seriously and have very good thinking about scientific research.”
At the end of the Conference, there were 4 topics classified as Excellent, 7 topics classified as Fair, and 2 topics classified as Passed. Based on the results of the evaluation of the student topic reports, members of the 2 Evaluation Councils proposed to add 1 Second Prize and 1 Third Prize. Thus, the 2021-2022 Faculty of Tourism Student Scientific Research Conference has 1 First Prize, 3 Second Prizes, 5 Third Prizes, and 4 Encouragement Prizes.
