On November 5, the Faculty of Law, Dai Nam University organized a program to meet new students of K14 and a seminar on learning methods and career orientation for students of the Faculty of Law.

On November 5, the Faculty of Law, Dai Nam University organized a program to meet new students of K14 and a seminar on learning methods and career orientation for students of the Faculty of Law. The program aims to describe a comprehensive picture of the learning path, learning methods and career orientation for new students. This is also an opportunity to increase understanding and connection between staff, lecturers and students in the Faculty.

Attending the meeting, on the school side, there were Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal; Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh - Vice Principal; MSc. Do Thu Huong - Head of Training Department; Ms. Phan Thi Toan - Head of Student Affairs Department; Ms. Thai Thu Phuong - Head of Administration Department.

On the side of the guests outside the school, there were Lawyer Trinh Son Doai - Head of Son Nga Law Office; Lawyer Le Van Kien, Head of Anh Sang Cong Ly Law Office; Lawyer Le Thi Diep - Head of An Gia Law Office; MSc. Luong Tien Quynh - representative of parents of new students. On the side of the Faculty of Law, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Xuan Duc - Head of the Faculty; Dr. Do Thi Minh Thu - Deputy Head of the Faculty, Dr. Do Gia Thu - Deputy Head of the Faculty, MSc. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Deputy Head of the Faculty along with the staff, lecturers and employees of the Faculty; especially the presence of the Law Club, alumni association and 83 new students of the 14th course.

Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of the school spoke at the meeting

In his opening speech, Dr. Luong Cao Dong, Principal of the University, sent greetings and congratulations to the new students who chose the Faculty of Law (Dai Nam University) to study and practice. Sharing with the new students, Dr. Luong Cao Dong emphasized that Vietnam's economy is increasingly prosperous with the continuous development of domestic companies, enterprises and foreign-invested corporations. More than ever, the legal corridor and issues related to economic policies need to be ensured. Any enterprise or organization needs to understand the law to carry out business activities in accordance with the law. Therefore, the field of Economic Law has become an indispensable profession in modern society.

Welcoming the new students of the Faculty of Law, course 14, Dr. Luong Cao Dong presented a bouquet of flowers to student Nguyen Ha Minh - Class President of LKT 14-01 and congratulated them on joining the big family of the Faculty of Law.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Duc - Head of Faculty spoke at the meeting

On behalf of the Faculty of Law, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Xuan Duc - Dean of the Faculty respectfully expresses his gratitude for the attention and support of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, functional units, socio-political organizations in the school, Law offices and the cooperation of teachers participating in teaching at the Faculty.

Dr. Do Thi Minh Thu - Deputy Dean, describes a comprehensive picture of the learning path for new students.

At the orientation session, Dr. Do Thi Minh Thu - Deputy Head of the Faculty introduced in depth the training program of the Faculty, and analyzed and provided specific orientations for students to clearly understand their majors and future careers. From there, helping students decide on a learning method that suits their abilities and desires.

Lawyer Nguyen Ngoc Lan – Sharing about learning methods

As one of the generations of outstanding students of the Faculty of Law - VNU, one of the few recipients of the Australian Government scholarship to complete the Master's degree in Human Rights in the training cooperation program between the Faculty of Law, VNU and the Australian Government through the Aus for Skills organization. Currently, Lawyer Nguyen Ngoc Lan is a member of the Hanoi Bar Association, with more than 7 years of consulting experience in the fields of civil, family, labor, inheritance, land and related fields. Lawyer Nguyen Ngoc Lan has shared very useful information for new students to know how and what to do to study law most effectively.

To inspire the generation of Law Faculty students, especially new students, at the meeting, delegates shared their orientations, work experiences as well as the requirements and challenges that the labor market poses for today's students.

Lawyer Le Thi Diep - Head of An Gia Law Office shares about job opportunities for students after graduation

From the employer's perspective, Lawyer Le Thi Diep - Head of An Gia Law Office said that currently, there are huge career opportunities in the field of Economic Law. Therefore, in order to become workers in the field of Economic Law, according to Lawyer Le Thi Diep, in addition to the knowledge learned at school, students must also practice skills, have a positive attitude to be ready to work, accept challenges, have the opportunity to practice and rub against each other to improve their professional skills. Law Offices affiliated with the Faculty of Law are always ready to support students to come to practice to approach and practice the job.

Dr. Do Gia Thu - Deputy Dean, Director of Nguyen Do Law Firm LLC shared with students about career opportunities from the perspective of businesses.

Lawyer Le Van Kien advised: “Your success and the realization of your dreams depend largely on your efforts and struggles in university. You must spend a lot of time studying and researching on your own to cultivate and accumulate knowledge and professional experience in the future.”
