Attending the 2nd Annual Conference of the Network of Law Training Institutions in Vietnam, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Xuan Duc - Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dai Nam University participated in the discussion, exchanged experiences in implementing training quality assessment of DNU and contributed ideas to the Draft Circular on building a set of standards for building a framework for law training programs of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Overview of the 2nd Annual Conference - Vietnam Law Training Institutions Network (VLSN).
Recently at FLC Sam Son - Thanh Hoa, the Network of Law Training Institutions in Vietnam held its 2nd annual conference. The Network of Law Training Institutions in Vietnam is an alliance of law training institutions in Vietnam established by consultation to exchange information, propose policies, and support each other to develop the law training career. Currently, it gathers 53/99 existing law training institutions. The theme of this conference is to exchange experiences in implementing training quality assessment for member schools and contribute opinions to the Draft Circular on building a set of standards for building a framework for law training programs of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Attending the conference were representatives of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform; leaders of the Ministry of Justice; leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Department of Higher Education - Ministry of Education and Training, the Department of Quality Assessment - Ministry of Education and Training; representatives of Thanh Hoa province; law training institutions in the network and representatives of other specialized universities such as Polytechnic, Pedagogy, and news agencies, newspapers, etc.

The conference listened to and discussed reports presented by the network, including: Overview of law training in Vietnam and requirements for quality assessment in the current context (domestic and international); Current status of quality assessment of law training institutions and quality assessment of law training programs in Vietnam; Experience in developing Self-assessment Reports on the quality of training institutions and Self-assessment Reports on the quality of law training programs; Experience in conducting external assessments in the quality assessment of law training institutions and programs; Significance and experience in implementing post-assessment work and explanation for mid-cycle quality assessment... The discussion report was printed in the proceedings.
The conference devoted a considerable amount of time to commenting on the draft circular regulating the framework standards for law training programs in Vietnam.
