Faculty of Information Technology career orientation for new students K18: Starting the journey to a bright future

To open the door to future careers and help new students shape their own development path, the Faculty of Information Technology (IT) of Dai Nam University organized a "Career Orientation" program for K18. The event brought together representatives of school leaders, faculty leaders and prestigious technology enterprises, providing an overview of career opportunities as well as development paths for students.

At the orientation session, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal emphasized: "IT, Information Systems, Computer Science are the majors that play a core role in the current digital age. With the goal of helping students access knowledge, practice skills and gain practical experience right from the first years, Dai Nam University always strives to expand cooperation with technology enterprises, creating conditions for students to develop comprehensively in both expertise and practical working skills".

Dr. Tran Dang Cong - Head of the Faculty of Information Technology also added: "From the first year, students will participate in real projects and specialized clubs, creating opportunities to practice and acquire valuable practical lessons, helping them to step firmly into the real working environment".

Adding to the perspective on career development, Mr. Pham Van Truong - CEO of SunCloud Technology Infrastructure JSC said: "Graduates from IT, Information Systems, Computer Science majors can choose from a variety of positions such as software engineer, data analyst, artificial intelligence engineer and many other roles in the technology field".

Mr. Pham Van Truong also emphasized that these positions not only have great recruitment demand but also bring sustainable career development prospects and attractive income.

“Businesses are always looking for young talents with solid knowledge and practical skills. Students, if they constantly learn and are ready to face challenges, will grasp many opportunities in this industry,” he shared.

Information from businesses helps K18 students visualize more clearly about career prospects, specific requirements from employers and motivation for self-development right from the beginning of their study journey at Dai Nam University.

Bach Duong - HTTT class 18.01 expressed: "Before, I was still very vague about my career and what my major could bring. After the sharing session from teachers and business leaders, I had a clearer view and felt confident in my choice. I understand that the skills and practical experiences in the coming time will be valuable provisions for me to enter this potential technology industry."
