Faculty of Communication, Dai Nam University launched the online photo contest "I'm fine, what about you"

The online photo contest: “I’m fine, what about you?” is organized by the Faculty of Communication, Dai Nam University with the desire to share happy moments, spread positive energy, express optimism, love of life, and connect the Dai Nam student community in the context of the Covid 19 epidemic. At the same time, this is also an artistic playground for those who are passionate about photography to create beautiful, impressive works with humanistic values.

CONTENT, FORM, CONTESTANTS

Content

- The work is a selfie of the author (there may be many other characters) capturing happy moments during the epidemic season: Work and study activities; family bonding activities, family care, etc. to express optimism and love of life even during this difficult epidemic period.

- The photo must have a name and a short caption (under 20 words). If you want to clarify your work, you can write a description of under 100 words about the photo taken (your chance to win the Best Commentary award)

“I'm fine, what about you” is an online photo contest organized by the Faculty of Communication, Dai Nam University, posted on the Faculty of Communication fanpage or Dai Nam University fanpage.

CONTEST RULES

- Contest photos must be self-taken. Each author is responsible for the copyright/work. In case the Organizing Committee discovers duplicate works, all such works will be disqualified.

- Photos and contest content must not violate Vietnamese customs, laws, or culture.

- Contest photos are used by the Faculty of Communication for archiving and communication purposes.

- Photography equipment: photos can be taken with mobile phones, professional and non-professional cameras...

- Do not cheat or use fake accounts to interact. In case the Organizing Committee detects signs of cheating, the results will be immediately canceled.

TIME AND JUDGING CRITERIA

1. Launch: From September 27, 2021 – October 4, 2021

2. Preliminary round: From October 4, 2021 – November 1, 2021 (4 weeks).

+ Posting form: Post the work on the Faculty of Communication fanpage

+ Candidates submit their exam papers via the announced link. Immediately after receiving the exam papers, the Organizing Committee will post them on the Faculty of Communication fanpage. Students whose exam papers are posted are encouraged to share and interact (tag friends, comment, etc.) to create the highest reach for their posts.

At the end of each week, the Weekly First Prize will be announced to the contestant based on the criteria: most reached, specifically as follows:

- Week 1: Receiving and posting contest photos: from October 4, 2021 - October 9, 2021. Announcement date of First Prize of Week 1: 8:00 p.m. on October 11, 2021

- Week 2: Date of receiving and posting contest photos: October 11, 2021 - October 16, 2021. Date of announcing the First Prize of Week 2: 8:00 p.m. on October 18.

- Week 3: Date of receiving and posting photos: October 18, 2021 - October 23, 2021. Date of announcing the First Prize of Week 3: 8:00 p.m. on October 25, 2021.

- Week 4: Date of receiving and posting photos: October 25, 2021 - October 30, 2022. Date of announcing the First Prize of Week 4: 8:00 p.m. November 1, 2021

+ In addition, the Organizing Committee will select the Top 20 works with the highest evaluation by the professional council and announce them on November 1, 2021.

3. Final round: From November 2, 2021 - November 8, 2021 (1 week)

+ Scoring method: The expert panel selects from 24 (4 best works of 4 weeks and 20 works selected by the expert panel) the best works of the preliminary round to select the awards.

+ Scoring criteria:

• And other criteria decided by the Expert Council

4. Announcement and award ceremony: 8:00 p.m. November 19, 2021

I-Com Media Club - Faculty of Communication is responsible for supporting the Organizing Committee to produce products to promote this contest on the Faculty of Communication fanpage; receiving entries, posting, announcing awards, supporting communication to School, Course, Faculty groups, calling for candidates to participate in the contest.

Homeroom teachers and Secretaries of the Youth Unions of the Faculties are responsible for informing students in the faculty. Each Youth Union sends at least 01 student to participate in the competition.

The School's Communications Department supports posting the exam on the Dai Nam University fanpage for the final round.
