Faculty of Business Administration welcomes new students of course 9

Established since the early days of the school's construction, the Faculty of Business Administration is one of the school's key faculties and the number of students in the faculty is increasing day by day. As the faculty directly teaching and managing the school's Soft Skills department, in recent years, with outstanding efforts in innovating teaching methods, the Soft Skills department has truly brought positive results to students of the whole school. Dai Nam graduates meet all the criteria of knowledge, skills as well as foreign languages to best meet the needs of employers.

To help new students better understand the Faculty, the major as well as the role of Soft Skills. On the morning of September 17, 2015, the Faculty of Business Administration, Dai Nam University organized a meeting to welcome new students of Course 9.

Attending the ceremony were Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Vice Principal of the School, MSc. Nguyen Luong Long - Secretary of the School Youth Union, along with all staff, lecturers of the Faculty of Business Administration, students of all generations and especially the presence of nearly 100 newly enrolled K9 students.

At the beginning of the meeting, the new students watched a clip introducing Dai Nam University, especially the Faculty of Business Administration. Through that, the students had an initial look at the learning movement, scientific research and extracurricular activities of the Faculty of Business Administration.

The student meeting took place in a friendly and joyful atmosphere.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Dr. Luong Cao Dong delivered a speech welcoming the 9th class students to officially join the common home of Dai Nam. Dr. Luong Cao Dong said that the number of students of the 9th class of the Faculty of International Business enrolled is quite large compared to other faculties in the whole university. That shows that the position of Dai Nam University in general, and the Faculty of International Business in particular, is constantly improving.

On the side of the Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. Tran Van Trang introduced the teachers in the faculty, who will accompany the K9 students on the next four-year journey. Dr. Tran Van Trang shared practical lessons through stories that are very close to the students. One of the stories that caught the attention of the new students was the result of a survey at a number of universities in the US and Canada, which showed that " Successful entrepreneurs often have average academic performance " and " they have a very early practical experience ". This is completely consistent with the reality in Vietnam. The K9 students - Faculty of Business Administration, with average academic performance in high school, belong to the group of people who dare to take risks and have a high tendency to open a company after graduation. Therefore, Dr. Tran Van Trang encouraged the students to be confident in their own abilities, they have all the necessary conditions to study and succeed. In addition to studying and doing scientific research, students need to make an effort to gain practical experience, equip themselves with foreign languages and soft skills to adapt to the requirements of the integration era. The teachers of the Faculty of Business Administration and the School clearly understand what needs to be done to help students succeed and will do their best to support them in their learning and training path to become active citizens, successful managers and businessmen after graduation.

At the meeting, the new students and teachers participated in group games and enjoyed special performances by the students of the faculty. In addition, the new students listened to the sharing of the alumni of the first and second courses of the faculty. Many students asked questions to gain more knowledge for themselves.

At the end of the exchange session, many new students boldly registered to join the Student Entrepreneurship Club of the Faculty of Business Administration - Dai Nam University. This is a playground for students of the Faculty of Business Administration, gathering students who are passionate about business and want to learn and experience business practices right from when they are students...
