On May 30, the Faculty of Business Administration (QTKD) - Dai Nam University successfully organized the Student Scientific Research Conference for the 2017-2018 academic year. This is an annual activity and is of great interest to the Faculty of Business Administration, creating an environment that helps students have the opportunity to access scientific research work, gain more knowledge and practical work experience.
Attending the conference were Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of the school, MSc. Pham Van Minh - Head of the Faculty of Business Administration, staff, lecturers of the Faculty, student research groups, and interested teachers and students.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Dr. Luong Cao Dong emphasized that scientific research is one of the most active activities of the Faculty of Business Administration in particular and Dai Nam University in general. Scientific research is a process of discovery, requiring students not only to master basic knowledge but also to persevere, learn, explore, and overcome difficulties and challenges. He hopes that the research groups will confidently defend their works and achieve the highest results.

At the conference, the groups confidently presented their research results in a convincing manner and received high praise from the Report Evaluation Council. The topics received many valuable comments from the Faculty's lecturers, thereby helping the research groups to have a deeper understanding of the problem and complete their research papers.

This year, the Scientific Conference has the participation of 5 topics. The topics are all highly appreciated for their quality with many new points and received the attention of businesses and society. Most of the works have used modern research methods, building research models suitable for the research objectives and questions.
After a period of debate and reaching a consensus, the Jury decided to award 02 Second Prizes to the group of students Tran Thi Minh Hoa, Nguyen Van Cao, Nguyen Manh Son with the topic: "Current situation of depression among first-year students at Dai Nam University"; and the group of students Bui Minh Hoa, Hoang Thanh Quang, Dinh Thi Thao with the topic: "Research on the impact of some macro-environmental factors on the beer industry in Vietnam" . 03 Third Prizes went to the group of students Hoang Thi Thu Hoai, Bui Thi Ha with the topic: "Current situation of school violence among students at Dai Nam University" ; the group of students Le Anh Khang, Tran Manh Cuong with the topic: "Research on Marketing Mix strategy of Soi Bien clean food store chain" ; and the group of students Dinh Thi Thao, Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Nguyen Huy Hoang with the topic: "Analysis of Marketing Mix policy of Dingtea milk tea system".

At the end of the conference, MSc. Pham Van Minh, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Chairman of the Council, praised the students' spirit of continuous learning and research and awarded prizes and gifts to groups with winning projects to encourage and recognize the efforts and endeavors of the research groups. Hopefully, the student groups will continue to inspire and share experiences for the following courses so that the scientific research movement in the Faculty will continue to develop.
