Enterprises proactively "invite" DNU students to do paid internships

With the "classroom - enterprise" training model, Dai Nam University (DNU) has created an effective bridge between businesses and students. Businesses are directly "assessing" human resources and deciding to "invite" more than 220 students majoring in Digital Economy and E-commerce at DNU to do paid internships.
Why are Dai Nam University students proactively "invited" by businesses to do internships?
Realizing the importance of practice in training, the Faculty of E-Commerce and Digital Economy (EM&KTS) constantly expands business cooperation; brings businesses to the school to share, mentor and "evaluate" students; sends students to businesses to intern and work as official employees every summer.
Through practical experience activities, internships at enterprises, and professional competitions, students of the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology are highly appreciated by many "digital platform business giants" for their knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Therefore, many enterprises have proactively invited students to do paid internships; created favorable conditions for recruiting and accepting DNU students to work right after the end of year 2 and year 3.
Mr. Cao Xuan Hong - General Director of Trust Nation Trading and Service Company Limited commented: "Few groups of students have the knowledge, skills, creative thinking, and quick and effective problem solving skills like the e-commerce students of Dai Nam University."
In 2023, Trust Nation accepted interns and "recruited" 3 K15 students majoring in e-commerce to work. This year, the company continues to "welcome" 25 students for paid internships.
Nearly 200 remaining students (K15, K16) were assigned to do internships at iViet Business Development Solutions Company Limited (iViet Solutions), Eco Academy E-commerce Consulting and Development Joint Stock Company, STI Vietnam Company Limited, EcomGroup Joint Stock Company, Rosa Bonita Company Limited, Atosa Technology Joint Stock Company, Luka Group Joint Stock Company, Comme Online Media Company Limited, Byscom Technology and Media Company Limited, Sbooks Hanoi Company Limited, Dong Tai Global Trading and Logistics Company Limited... and more than 40 partner enterprises of the Faculty.
In particular, through the "Digital Business Breakthrough - DBIC 2024" competition, many first-year students have been hired by businesses for paid jobs.
What do students get when doing an internship at a business?
With the school's connection, students have many advantages when doing internships at businesses:
- Be guided and trained by experts and talented personnel in the field of digital business and e-commerce.
- Practical experience in many important positions in the e-commerce industry such as initiating, operating, caring for and developing booths on e-commerce platforms; Digital Marketing; Livestream; Building sales channels; Warehouse/packaging services; Booking KOL/KOC; Sales consulting; Designing new box/logo/packaging models for products; Building communication plans for products, surveying the demand for health care products for product subjects on digital platforms...
- With financial support from the school and the business, you can receive a salary of 5 - 10 million VND/month depending on your job position and level of work completion.
- Trained in professional skills, soft skills, adaptability, problem solving, etc. to improve competitiveness in the labor market in the digital age.
- Priority recruitment by businesses immediately after internship and after graduation.
According to a survey by the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology, 65% of students who finished their third year had jobs (30% had an income of over 5 million VND/month), and 59% of students who finished their second year also had jobs.
With the goal of ensuring that 100% of graduates have jobs and good incomes, the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology is continuing to promote the classroom-enterprise training model so that students can practice and intern right from the first year and throughout the entire course.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Dai Nam University will enroll 250 full-time undergraduate students in the E-commerce program (code: 7340122), 100 students in the Economics program (code: 7310101), 50 students in the Digital Economy program (code: 7310109), and 50 students in the Business Data Analysis program (code: 7340125).
