As the head of the school, every time Tet comes, in addition to looking back at the steps, achievements and difficulties, limitations of the school in the past year, I always think of my staff, lecturers and employees. After a year, do you feel happy to be associated with Dai Nam; is your income enough to meet your living needs? And the question "how to make sure everyone has a full, happy and complete Tet" has been on my mind a lot these days.

“In the past, every time Tet came
Mom's hair is turning gray again.
Father of the battlefield guns blazing
Mother cries silently every night
I don't know anything.
Just wish Tet would be longer
To not have to go to school
Fun with friends all night long...”

Old Tet...

Tet in the past was also a reunion festival, but it was not a complete reunion because the country was still at war, the economy was still poor, and daily food was not enough. Father was far away on the battlefield with bombs falling and bullets exploding, mother stayed home alone to raise her young children. Every time Tet came, mother "struggled" to get a few kilos of pork, a few pairs of banh chung so that her children could have a full Tet. We children at that time did not understand anything, we just wanted Tet to come quickly, Tet to stay long so that we could take a break from school, to have fun all night with our young friends and to eat the "craving" dishes that we had been waiting for all year long, which only Tet had "fatty meat, pickled onions, green banh chung...".

This Tet…

Life is getting better, the meaning of family reunion of the traditional Tet holiday is more complete and true. Tet is an occasion for family members to reunite, gather, rest, eat, visit, wish each other a happy new year and have fun... For the majority of society today, it is a Happy Tet!

As the head of the school, every time Tet comes, in addition to looking back at the steps, achievements and difficulties, limitations of the school in the past year, I always think of my staff, lecturers and employees. After a year, do you feel happy to be associated with Dai Nam; is your income enough to meet your living needs? And the question "how to make sure everyone has a full, happy and complete Tet" has been on my mind a lot these days.

More than anyone else, I understand that this is not only the traditional Tet holiday of the nation but also the spiritual Tet holiday, everyone who works is looking forward to the Tet holiday to reunite with their families. The school adds a "reward" to recognize the contributions and efforts of each staff and lecturer throughout the past year to make Tet more joyful.

In terms of Tet bonuses, this year the school will base on the general activities, based on the evaluation and voting of achievements in the past year in all units to have worthy rewards for each individual. Accordingly, cadres, lecturers and employees with good achievements, many contributions and dedication to Dai Nam University will have higher rewards. Individuals who have not yet fully developed their abilities to join hands to build Dai Nam University to develop better will have to learn from experience, set higher goals in the following year to affirm themselves with the school and colleagues. The school also recognizes with the spirit of "compassion" towards ordinary workers to bring joy to everyone.

In terms of spirit, when the Law on Higher Education comes into effect, according to the new mechanism, universities will autonomously develop criteria for conferring the title of Professor and Associate Professor to their lecturers. At Dai Nam University, the University will soon develop title standards to confer on its teaching staff. Therefore, we always welcome and respect talented, virtuous people who have the desire to contribute to the training career at Dai Nam University. The staff, lecturers and employees can work for life while still meeting the work of the University. The University does not limit the age of retirement and always creates conditions for all staff, lecturers and employees to develop comprehensively.
