At the most vigorous age of his life, Ngo Manh Linh - 24 years old, a student of LTCĐ Pharmacy class 11-08, Dai Nam University, discovered that he had cancer of the left iliac bone (inguinal lymph nodes). All his dreams and plans in life were put aside to make way for tiring days of fighting the disease in the hospital and the financial burden weighing heavily on the shoulders of these hard-working, unfortunate people.

Ngo Manh Linh is fighting day and night with left iliac bone cancer at Hanoi Medical University Hospital.

Ngo Manh Linh is the eldest son in the family, with a younger brother who is still in school age. His parents are farmers, and the family's economy mainly depends on a few fields. With a passion for Pharmacy and a dream of becoming a Pharmacist who can cure and care for people's health, despite the difficulties and hardships, Linh still registered for the exam and studied Pharmacy at Dai Nam University.

To his relatives, teachers and friends, Linh is an active, lively, studious young man with a strong will to study and train. After more than two months of illness, from a quick, active young man, Linh has become emaciated, losing 10kg, unable to walk on his own, and needs help with even the smallest personal activities. Linh is currently being treated at the Department of Oncology and Palliative Care - Hanoi Medical University Hospital.

The illness struck Linh at such a young age, leaving her and her family devastated. Cancer treatment was a very tiring battle mentally and financially. As the breadwinner in the family, and with the family's financial situation in difficult times, Linh wanted to give up many times, stop treatment, and return home to wait for death.

In order to carry out the good humanistic tradition of “helping each other, loving others as you love yourself” of the Vietnamese people, the tradition of solidarity, mutual love, and mutual assistance of the staff and lecturers of Dai Nam University, the Board of Directors announces to all staff, lecturers, employees, students and everyone who is kind-hearted and voluntarily contributes and supports student Ngo Manh Linh in spirit and material to contribute part of the cost of medical treatment, to overcome this difficult period.

Linh’s treatment is currently a race against time and depends heavily on finances. The school is looking forward to receiving prompt and timely assistance from everyone. Any support, no matter how small or large, is a great source of encouragement for the family in general and Linh in particular, so that she has more determination to continue fighting this terrible disease.
