DNU visits students in areas with people infected with Corona Flu, proactively takes preventive measures

During the time students are temporarily off school, Dai Nam University has conducted statistics on students and trainees in areas with people infected with Corona flu to proactively take preventive measures.
In order to join hands with the whole country to repel the dangerous epidemic, Dai Nam University has proactively deployed measures to prevent and control the epidemic on a large and deep scale. The school actively disseminates knowledge about disease prevention according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health to every cadre, lecturer, employee and student in the whole school; conducts cleaning and disinfection of working and studying spaces at both campuses of the school twice a week with Chloramine B disinfectant solution; equips necessary items such as disinfectants, hand soap, body temperature measuring equipment as well as arranges medical personnel, support plans, and timely handling of cadres, lecturers, employees and students in need; prepares isolation areas for cases of fever or signs of infection if they occur at school... In particular, during the time students are temporarily off school, Dai Nam University has conducted statistics on students and trainees in areas with people infected with Corona virus to proactively take prevention plans.
Dai Nam University mixes Chloramine B disinfectant solution according to the prescribed ratio for cleaning and disinfection.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal said: "Along with the statistics of students and trainees in areas with people infected with Corona flu, the School has assigned the Student Management Department, Admissions Department and Communications Department to call to inquire about the health and encourage the spirit of each student, trainee and their families..."

As of February 11, Vietnam has recorded 15 cases positive for the Corona virus, of which Vinh Phuc province has 10 cases. The youngest infected patient is a 3-month-old child from Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province who was cross-infected by his grandmother.

Sharing with us over the phone, student NT Tr - class TT 12-02, Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture, residing in Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province said: “Although my family is in the epidemic area, my family and I are currently in stable health, and we have not seen any unusual signs. My family and I are aware that prevention is better than cure. Therefore, everyone is seriously implementing disease prevention measures, minimizing going out and gathering in large groups to protect our health and that of those around us…”

Information recorded from student LTH L - TT Duoc, residing in Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province, currently L and his family are healthy. L himself is a medical officer working at Binh Xuyen District General Hospital and directly participating in disease prevention and control work in the locality.

The acute respiratory disease caused by the Corona virus is dangerous and is evolving very complicatedly. However, we should not panic, on the contrary, we need to be calm, proactive and seriously implement disease prevention and control according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health.
