“DNU Talented Tour Guide 2025” – An academic playground to help Tourism students practice their skills right from the classroom

On May 28, 2025, the final round of the contest “DNU Talented Tour Guide 2025” took place in an exciting and exciting atmosphere at Dai Nam University. This is one of the meaningful annual academic playgrounds organized by the Faculty of Tourism, aiming to create opportunities for students to practice professional skills, demonstrate their mettle, develop their thinking and build a professional guiding style right from when they are still in the classroom.

Academic playground combined with practical career training
The competition is designed as a miniature professional practice model, where students can directly come up with ideas, develop explanatory content, demonstrate their tour guiding skills, handle situations and debate before a panel of experts.
Through the exams such as general knowledge, explanation skills, guidance skills and situation handling, students not only demonstrate specialized knowledge but also comprehensively develop soft skills such as: communication, situational reflexes, presentation, creative thinking and independent work - important factors in the modern tour guide profession.

The “DNU Talented Tour Guide 2025” contest received the support and evaluation from experienced experts in the tourism field, including:

After the preliminary round with two online competitions and live presentations, the 5 best candidates entered the final round and went through a challenging competition. The results are as follows:

In particular, with the participation of prestigious tourism businesses, the competition is also an important bridge between students - schools - businesses, opening up opportunities for internships, jobs and sustainable training cooperation.
