DNU students “conquer” Japanese employers with paid internships and work in Japan

With the aim of improving the quality of training, thoroughly applying the learning ecosystem of "maximizing the experience between studying and practicing at enterprises", creating conditions for students of the Engineering major to expand their internship and work opportunities in the Japanese market with high income, recently, the Faculty of Computer Science (KHMT), Dai Nam University organized the Job Fair "JOB FAIR 2022 - Technology human resources for the Japanese market". Participating in the Fair, many students confidently "conquered" Japanese employers, were accepted for paid internships and had the opportunity to work in Japan long-term with good benefits after graduation.
Attending the program, on the side of Dai Nam University, there were the Board of Directors, representatives of Departments, Offices, and Faculties; along with lecturers and students interested in the Japanese market orientation program of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Information Technology.
On the guest side, there were representatives of Japanese enterprises: Cbit Company, Four Seasons Company, Total Support Company, OR Lab Company, Media Bridge Company, Kaname Company, Japanese Fintech Company; and experts from leading technology companies in Vietnam.
Representatives of Japanese technology companies directly came to Dai Nam University to recruit personnel.
Strengthening relationships with businesses, committing to output for students
Speaking at the program, Dr. Bui Quang Hung - Assistant to the President of the University, in charge of the Faculty of Computer Science, said: The purpose of "JOR FAIR" is to connect businesses oriented towards the Japanese market with Dai Nam University; support and introduce free jobs for final year students majoring in Engineering... Affirming orientation capacity, committing to 100% of students having jobs in the Vietnamese and Japanese markets immediately after graduation.
“To create the best foundation for students, helping them “score points” in the eyes of foreign employers, the Faculty of Computer Science has partnered with a Japanese Fintech company to provide free Japanese language training for students; innovate the training program, and provide the latest knowledge in the field to students…”, said Dr. Bui Quang Hung.
Dr. Bui Quang Hung hopes that Dai Nam University will train talented, virtuous and useful people for society.
Studying Computer Science at Dai Nam University, students are trained in depth in 03 fields: Data Science (Data Analysis and Mining); Big Data; Artificial Intelligence; trained oriented towards the Japanese market with high-quality classes oriented towards the Japanese market, classes oriented towards the Japanese market with scholarships from FIMO Company.

Why DNU students "conquer" Japanese employers?
At the program, representatives of Japanese enterprises directly interviewed and evaluated the capacity of each candidate. With solid knowledge and skills, 04 Engineering students were "signed" to the list of successful candidates after two rounds of interviews. Of these, 04 students were selected as paid interns. After receiving their graduation certificates and Japanese language certificates, all four will be officially accepted and go to Japan to work.
Mr. Yamaguchi - Director of Media Bridge Company said: The demand for human resources in the field of science, technology and information technology in the Japanese market is very large. The number of Vietnamese science, technology and information technology engineers working, living long-term and settling in Japan is increasing.

Seize the opportunity and work harder
Having been accepted into Media Bridge Company, Vu Minh Son – a student of IT class 13-02 will work at the Hanoi office and participate in the IoT project with the Ho Chi Minh City team. After receiving his diploma and foreign language certificate, Son will go to Japan to work.
“Working in the Japanese market has been my dream since the first day I entered Dai Nam University. I will try my best to improve and work hard to prove that the company's choice is completely correct,” Minh Son shared.

Nguyen Thi Nhung – Former student of the Faculty of Information Technology expressed: “I feel very lucky to be accepted into OR Lab. With the knowledge and skills learned at Dai Nam University, I believe that I will complete the assigned work well. Currently, I am looking forward to the day I can officially go to Japan to work.”
Bach Dang Bao - a student of IT class 13-02 said: "As one of the four candidates who passed the first round, I feel very proud of myself. I will try harder to pass the next interview round and have the opportunity to become an official employee at a Japanese company."
