DNU signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with a prestigious, long-standing training institution under Vietnam Television.

With the aspiration to become a leading media training institution in Vietnam, the first choice for dynamic young people who love journalism and media, the Department of Media of Dai Nam University (DNU) is steadfast in its applied training orientation, focusing on practice and reality. Comprehensive training cooperation documents with partners are continuously signed to bring a professional internship and practical environment to students. Continuing that tradition, recently, DNU signed a training cooperation agreement with the College of Television - a school with a 65-year history, the No. 1 training address for television, under the Vietnam Television Station, with synchronous and modern investment from the State in terms of facilities and teaching staff.

The signing ceremony was solemnly held at the College of Television.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were Dr. Luong Cao Dong – Principal; leaders, staff, lecturers and student representatives of the Faculty of Communication. On behalf of the College of Television, there were Dr. Tran Phuc Trung – Principal and representatives of the Departments – Boards – students in the school.

Dr. Luong Cao Dong and Dr. Tran Phuc Trung signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Luong Cao Dong affirmed that the cooperation is an important premise to open up many opportunities for students of both schools, not only in the field of Communication but also in connecting and cooperating in many other fields of study based on the strengths of each institution.

Dai Nam University has been training human resources in the field of Communication since 2011. Up to now, the school has had 06 graduating classes. With the orientation of vocational training, the Faculty of Communication especially focuses on practice and reality for students.

“The College of Television is the number 1 training institution for television under Vietnam Television with outstanding advantages in terms of facilities, practice equipment, and teaching staff… With this cooperation, Dai Nam Media students will benefit from the applied practice training program and modern practice equipment, thereby having more opportunities to study and practice, and being able to work immediately after graduation without having to retrain…” , Dr. Luong Cao Dong emphasized.

Dr. Tran Phuc Trung affirmed that the College of Television welcomes and wishes to cooperate with Dai Nam University in training high-quality Media human resources for society.

Accordingly, with the signed cooperation agreement, the two training institutions will cooperate comprehensively in the following areas: Scientific research, technology transfer; organizing scientific conferences and seminars; training and exchanging managers, lecturers and students...; the College of Television supports training in knowledge and professional skills for students of the Faculty of Communication of Dai Nam University in accordance with the conditions of facilities and teaching staff; the two sides promote exchange activities between students and lecturers in the fields of academics, arts and sports; joint training and fostering programs in accordance with the functions, tasks and capabilities of the two sides; Dai Nam Communication students are allowed to participate in training in a number of subjects related to professional skills and practical practice at the College of Television right from the first year of study.

After the signing ceremony, teachers and students of Dai Nam University had time to exchange and experience the practical learning program at the College of Television, such as: Visiting facilities, recording, hosting live TV programs, studio operations...
