DNU Logistics and Supply Chain Management Students: “Harvest” knowledge from 3 days of practical training at Ajinomoto Vietnam Company

Learning from practical experience is the training motto of Dai Nam University to help students quickly get acquainted with the business environment, improve knowledge, practical skills, expand practice and internship opportunities... Implementing that policy, recently, the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management organized a 3-day practical learning experience at Ajinomoto Vietnam Company for new students of K17. The program is associated with the Introduction to Logistics and Supply Chain Management course.

With the guidance of Ms. Le Thi My Ngoc - Head of Logistics and Supply Chain Management Department and the Board of Directors of Ajinomoto Vietnam Company, the new students of K17 had interesting experiences about the environment and corporate culture. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Oanh - PR Department Supervisor shared with DNU students about the development strategy, production process, operation and supply chain of the food industry according to Japanese standards.

Mr. Le Quoc Dinh - Representative of PR Department Supervisor helps Dai Nam students have a clearer view of the business products, strong products, product evaluation criteria for food safety regulations issued by the state and internationally. This is useful and practical knowledge that no textbook can fully convey.
Ajinomoto Vietnam representatives enthusiastically answered all students' questions; at the same time, provided early career orientation so that students could set goals and plan their study path, and develop their knowledge and skills.

In particular, the new students also visited the Ajinomoto factory using 3D/360 technology and the Ajinomoto Information Museum. Here, students can "witness" and approach the actual operation of the closed supply chain, the stages to create the factory's products, the technological applications to reduce emissions currently applied, ... as well as the group's major projects in the market such as: School Meal Project or the strategy to develop Pioneer and Top Delicious products ...
A delegation of teachers and students visited the sustainable model and food resource development at Ajinomoto Vietnam.

Students get to listen to and see firsthand the raw materials and production process based on a simulation model of the product production process.
DNU students were introduced to Ajinomoto's closed-cycle bio-emission reduction technology applied to product manufacturing.
DNU students enjoyed seeing each stage of the product manufacturing process firsthand.
Another memorable experience for DNU students is participating in a cooking program conducted by professional chefs. Not only can they show off their skills, DNUers can also enjoy dishes prepared by the company's chefs.
Ajinomoto's expert chef guides DNU students through making a special crab stick soup meal.
Teachers and students were able to taste the products, special crab stick soup and Ajinomoto fermented rice vinegar drink.
Tran Huy Dat - a student of Logistics class 17-01 shared: "The practical learning experience program has helped me understand more about the culture and recruitment standards of the business. From there, I built a plan and roadmap to strive to have a good job after graduation and become a good citizen."
Hoang Van Duc - a student of Logistics class 17-02 expressed: "Learning combined with practical experience not only helps me improve my knowledge but also makes me feel more excited about the subject. This trip gives me a clearer view of the profession. I love Logistics and Supply Chain Management more. I hope the Faculty and the School will organize more interesting and meaningful practical lessons like this."
Before concluding the 3-day practical experience program at Ajinomoto Company, Ms. Le Thi My Ngoc shared with the students the significance of the practical session and the attention of the Faculty of Logistics to the young generation on the journey from the classroom to the enterprise. At the same time, Ms. Le Thi My Ngoc expressed her deep gratitude to Ajinomoto Vietnam for supporting and creating a practical and meaningful practical program for students of Dai Nam University.
The practical program at Ajinomoto Vietnam Company ended with excitement and joy of students and teachers of the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Indeed, the practical program brought students not only practical knowledge and useful experiences but also strengthened the confidence of the new generation of the Faculty of Logistics when choosing to study Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Dai Nam University.
