DNU Faculty of Communication expands cooperation with press agencies - A promising direction

The meeting not only demonstrated the good relationship between DNU Faculty of Communication and press agencies, but also opened up many opportunities for professional cooperation in the near future.

During the working trip, the delegation of the Faculty of Communication visited and congratulated the Center for Digital Content Production and Development, Vietnam Television, the Editorial Office of Vietnam Integration Magazine, and the Digital Television Center - Dan Viet Electronic Newspaper (Today's Rural Newspaper). The press agencies introduced the organizational structure, operational diagram, personnel positions as well as the tasks of each position so that students could clearly and realistically visualize the specific work of journalists, one of the opportunities for Communication students after graduation. At each press agency, the Head of the Faculty of Communication - DNU expressed his sincere feelings to the newspapers and stations that have had many cooperative activities with the Faculty of Communication in the past, and at the same time opened up many more meaningful cooperation directions in the near future.

Journalist Dinh Tran Viet, Acting Director of the Center for Digital Content Production and Development, Vietnam Television, thanked the teachers and students of the DNU Faculty of Communication for their affection. “ Through a Through a number of short-term cooperative activities with students of the Faculty of Communication - DNU in the past time, I have found that Dai Nam students are very dynamic, enthusiastic and eager to learn. They also grasp the trend very well. In the coming time, with many television activities for GenZ managed by BTV Viet Hoang, we will definitely need young people from the Faculty of Communication like you to be in charge of content, that is the immediate direction of cooperation that can be seen right away with Dai Nam University. In addition, I consider communication and journalism to be two industries that are close to each other with many activities, especially with modern multimedia journalism, so the signing and cooperation activities will not only stop there but will also open up many inevitable directions" - Journalist Dinh Tran Viet shared.

Regarding the content of strategic cooperation, journalist Doan Manh Phuong - Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Integration Magazine also expressed his full support for the cooperation between the Magazine and Dai Nam University in professional communication and journalism activities. He shared: “As a parent whose child is studying at Dai Nam University , I am very happy that my child has been educated in an open and active environment like the Faculty of Communication - DNU. Vietnam Integration is a magazine with a large number of publications, in a wide range of fields including policy, law, foreign affairs, ... published in both English and Vietnamese, and also a scientific magazine, so the volume of work of the magazine is very large. We always welcome students of Communication - DNU to intern and practice at the magazine. With a variety of activities, it will certainly be an address for students to learn and grow”.

Also during this trip, the delegation visited and presented flowers to the Digital Television Center – Dan Viet Electronic Newspaper (Nong Thon Ngay Nay Newspaper). Journalist Nguyen Manh Truong – Director of the center talked with students to learn about their aspirations for their careers, from which he gave advice and sincere sharing to help students orient themselves well with specialized directions right in the university. He also discussed with the leaders of the Faculty of Communication – DNU about the form of long-term cooperation in human resources between the two units to bring about long-term and sustainable development for both sides.

Minh Phuong, a first-year student of the Multimedia Communication class, expressed her joy at experiencing the activities of the press and radio stations that she had always wanted to visit. “After listening to the leaders of the press agencies discuss with the leaders of the Faculty and lecturers and students in the delegation, I feel more motivated and confident in the media industry that I am pursuing .
