DNU English Team "conquers" the "National English Olympiad 2022" competition

Coming to the "National English Olympiad 2022" competition, the English team of Dai Nam University is determined to show all its youth, creativity and aspiration to reach the future; at the same time, contributing to spreading the love and motivation to learn English among students.

This year, Dai Nam University sent 05 “mighty warriors” to the competition: Pham Ky Anh, Vu Thi Linh Chi, Nguyen Thuy Hien, Duong Kieu Mi and Nguyen Thi Phuong Thu. These are all dynamic students with excellent academic achievements in the school.

After passing the application round, the DNU English team officially entered round 02: making a video on the theme “Vietnamese Students: Aspiration for Creativity”. With enthusiasm, high determination, and fluent English speaking ability, the DNU “warriors” brought a quality video, built on the program “Shark Tank Vietnam”.

The DNU English team confidently demonstrated their youth, creativity and desire to live and love at the "2022 National English Olympiad" competition.

Accordingly, a group of DNU students with the desire and determination to successfully create a medicine to treat sore throat and persistent cough called “Hodixa” came to the program “Shark Tank Vietnam” to call for investment capital. The purpose of this project is not only to produce a large number of medicines to protect public health but more importantly, to organize free medicine distribution sessions for people in difficult circumstances across the country.

With a feasible project in the medical field, containing the desire to love and share with the community, the DNU student group quickly received investment capital from the Sharks.

Pham Ky Anh - K13 student said: The video idea was created when the group saw people around them often suffering from respiratory diseases. At school, teachers often have sore throats and persistent coughs due to teaching, inhaling chalk dust, flu, covid... Realizing that the school's convenient facilities such as labs, herbal medicine gardens... are very convenient for researching and producing a medicine to treat sore throats and persistent coughs. Therefore, the group combined these ideas to create a creative, humane video.

Through the video, the DNU English Olympic team also wants to send a message: "Let's nurture the desire to love and share with the community; try to study hard to become useful people for family and society."
