DNU changes the name of the Faculty of Public Relations and Communication to the Faculty of PR and Communication Management

The Chairman of the Board of Dai Nam University has just made an official decision to change the name of the Faculty of Public Relations and Communications to the Faculty of PR and Communications Management (Vietnamese name: Faculty of PR and Communications Management; English name: Faculty of Public Relations and Communications Management). The activities of the Faculty of PR and Communications Management are organized according to the Organization and Operation Regulations of Dai Nam University.
Sharing about the purpose and significance of the faculty name change, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the University Council said: “Dai Nam University is one of the pioneering universities in training in Public Relations and Communications. The training goal is to provide the labor market with high-quality human resources in the field of public relations and communications management. The renaming of the faculty from Public Relations and Communications to PR and Communications Management is to match the increasingly large training scale of the faculty; quickly and promptly grasp the movement and development trends of the communications industry in the digital age and bring more open job opportunities for students after graduation…”
The Faculty of PR and Communication Management of Dai Nam University continuously signs training cooperation agreements with businesses to create a professional practical practice environment and output for students.
In the late 2000s, in Vietnam, Public Relations and Communications (PR) was a new and young profession, but was ranked by the press as one of the 10 hottest professions in the labor market. Grasping that need, in 2011, Dai Nam University officially trained in this major, becoming one of the few universities in the North to train in PR, attracting a large number of students.
Academic playgrounds are continuously organized to help students both study and play, applying the knowledge they have learned to real life.
The leader of the Faculty of PR and Communication Management said: The Faculty is committed to ensuring the quality of training and output standards, specifically: after completing the Bachelor of Public Relations program, students will be proficient in planning and implementing events, multi-channel communication projects, communication crisis handling skills, news writing skills, producing multimedia communication products, updating and processing news, achieving a minimum English language standard equivalent to TOEIC 450 points, having a soft skills certificate... Students of the Faculty of PR and Communication Management of DNU are also trained in the ability to manage and coordinate communication activities, especially being oriented and cultivating a professional, creative working attitude, having solid ethics and professional qualities to develop their own careers and make positive contributions to society.
The training program of the faculty is always updated, closely following the development trends of the media industry at home and abroad. With a team of excellent lecturers, rich in practical experience, enthusiasm and a system of modern facilities for learning and practice, students of the Faculty of PR and Media Management of Dai Nam University are trained right at school.
