DBIC 2025 Final: From student playground to digital startup launch pad

Recently , the final round of the Digital Business Innovation Challenge 2025 (DBIC 2025) organized by the Faculty of Economics and Management - Dai Nam University in collaboration with ECOM GROUP Joint Stock Company has officially closed with many outstanding marks. Not only is it a regional academic playground, DBIC 2025 also affirms its position as a platform to nurture a generation of dynamic, brave and creative digital entrepreneurs.

DBIC 2025 – The breakthrough journey of the new generation of "digital entrepreneurs"

Launched in 2024, DBIC quickly became one of the prestigious academic competitions, attracting a large number of students nationwide. While the first season recorded 127 contestants, DBIC 2025 made great strides with the participation of 160 contestants, 37 teams from 25 universities, and the companionship of 15 mentors who are leading experts in the fields of business and digital technology.

Speaking at the final round, the leaders of Dai Nam University highly appreciated the role of DBIC in inspiring the spirit of entrepreneurship, innovative thinking and technology application in the young generation. “DBIC is not only a competition, but also a journey of practical experience, helping students equip themselves with solid luggage to enter the rapidly developing digital economy,” he shared.

E-commerce – The Central Theme of DBIC 2025

This year, DBIC chose e-commerce and digital platform business as the main theme – keeping up with the development trends of the modern economy and labor market. In the context of strong digital transformation in Vietnam, students directly trying out real business models has helped improve their professional capacity, management skills, strategic thinking and innovation ability.

The ultimate confrontation between the 5 best teams

Having passed many rigorous selection rounds, 5 excellent teams have reached the final round and gone through two challenging rounds: presenting business plans and solving real-life situations given by businesses. The rounds not only require professional knowledge but also challenge the ability to debate, work in groups and create innovative business solutions.

Final results:

- SUPERNOVA – Champion from Foreign Trade University, stands out with bold ideas and professional presentation.

- TECHBIZ – Runner-up from the Faculty of Economics & Management – Dai Nam University, impressed with its high practical applicability.

- NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK – Third Prize is a combination of students from National Economics University and Dai Nam University, marked by sharp systematic thinking.

The two teams NOVAR and BAMBORION were also honored as Potential Teams – a testament to the multi-dimensional creativity and limit-breaking courage of Vietnamese students.
