ORGANIZATION PLAN
DAINAM'S GOT TALENT
- Create a playground for students to express themselves. Help them show their talents that they have not had the opportunity to show.
- Dainam's Got Talent is not just an entertainment contest, it helps students confidently express themselves, you can show any talent that you realize.
- From the competition, candidates will overcome barriers to realize their dreams. After finding true talents from the competition and assessing the potential for further development, candidates will have the ability and confidence to enter larger playgrounds.
II. PROGRAM CONTENT
2.1. Steering Committee

- Coordinating units: TCQ Department ; SVTN Team ; School Youth Union Executive Committee; Inter-branch Executive Committee; Homeroom teachers and students of the whole school ,

2.4. CONTENT OF DAINAM'S GOT TALENT CONTEST
A. RULES
1. Rules
All students of Dai Nam University who have talent (individual or collective) and can demonstrate this talent through a performance on stage are eligible to register for the program.
2. Types of contest entries
- Sing
- Music (band, playing instruments…)
- Variety shows (comedy, magic, puppetry, dance, acrobatics, circus, traditional arts...)
B REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPETITION ENTRY
1- For all candidates
- Contestants will prepare all costumes, equipment, and props related to the performance.
- The organizers only provide the contestants with a performance stage. If the contestants have special sound and lighting equipment, they must notify the organizers 5 days before the performance.
- Performance no longer than 3 minutes
- Each contestant prepares 2 performances (each performance is for 1 round). If they make it to the final round, they can choose 1 of the 2 performances.
- Performances with risky, dangerous elements, or those that are not in accordance with public morals will not be allowed to compete.
2- For singing contestants
- Prepare the song (including music, lyrics, song title, author name)
- Candidates may sing in the manner of their choice (solo or chorus; with or without accompaniment)
- Prepare your own performance costumes.
- Candidates must notify the organizers at least 5 days in advance for other special requests.
3- For music contest entries (band, playing musical instruments, etc.)
- Candidates must prepare all musical instruments and accompanying equipment.
- Do not bring overly complicated equipment when installing on stage. Note that you only have a maximum of 5 minutes to prepare props on stage.
- If you use instruments that cannot be brought to the studio, you can bring a recorded video to support your performance.
- Provide your own performance costumes
4- With variety shows (comedy, magic, puppetry, dance, acrobatics, circus, traditional arts...)
- Prepare your best performances so the judges can evaluate your talent.
- Bring background music (DVD) and clearly write the song name and author.
- Provide your own performance costumes and props.
2.5. PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Contestants participating in the Talent Search program - Dainam's Got Talent will have to go through 3 rounds of competition with increasing difficulty levels, the content of the competition performances will be different in each part (for example: different dances, different songs...)
- Stage preliminary round
- Semi-finals
- Final round and gala
A. STAGE PRELIMINARY ROUND
- Deadline for receiving applications: from Tuesday, March 1 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 .
- After the Organizing Committee collects the contestants' applications, it will send an email to each contestant notifying them of the time and location of the preliminary stage round. The preliminary round is expected to take place on March 12, 2016 at Phu Lam Grand Hall.
- Candidates who are approved by the judges with many smiley icons will receive 01 ticket to the semi-finals (05 judges who receive 03 smiley icons from the judges will receive 01 ticket to the semi-finals).
Note :
- In this round, depending on each contestant's ability, the judges will grant "Special Rights" to go straight to the Final round.
- Jury members get 01 “SPECIAL RIGHT”.
B. SEMI-FINALS
- After receiving the ticket to the next round, the Organizing Committee will send an email to notify the time and location of the semi-final round, expected on March 19, 2016, at the 1st floor hall, Phu Lam.
- The semi-finals are the opportunity for the best candidates to shine, carefully selected by the judges;
- Time: no more than 4 - 5 minutes
C. FINAL ROUND
- Candidates who receive “Special Rights” and are selected for the final round will receive an email from the Organizing Committee and meet the Organizing Committee 1 day in advance to rehearse for the final round and Gala; (March 23, 2016);
- Time: 1 complete performance no more than 10 minutes.
- Acts that were eliminated in previous rounds can be considered for performance in the Gala (these acts should be considered if there are too few final acts);
- During the final round, the Organizing Committee will distribute ballots to the audience to vote for their favorite contestant;
D. PRIZES
1. Special prize: 01 prize including:
- 10,000,000 VND in cash
- 01 trophy for participating in the program
- 01 scholarship worth: 3,200,000 VND at Dai Nam University Foreign Language Center with native lecturers.
2. First prize: 01 prize including
- 5,000,000 cash
- 01 trophy for participating in the program
- 01 scholarship worth: 3,200,000 VND at Dai Nam University Foreign Language Center with native lecturers.
3. Second prize: 01 prize including:
- 4,000,000 cash
- 01 program participation medal
- 01 scholarship worth: 3,200,000 VND at Dai Nam University Foreign Language Center with native lecturers.
4. Third prize: 01 prize including:
- 3,000,000 cash
- 01 program participation medal
- 01 scholarship worth: 3,200,000 VND at Dai Nam University Foreign Language Center with native lecturers.
5. Promising Award and Audience Choice Award:
- 2,000,000 cash
- 01 program participation medal
- Get 50% discount on tuition at Dai Nam University Foreign Language Center with native teachers.
6. Prize for the luckiest audience vote
- 500,000 VND in cash
- Get 30% discount on tuition at Dai Nam University Foreign Language Center with native teachers.
III. PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION
A. PREPARATION WORK
Assign specific tasks to members, list committees, and take on specific tasks.
Foreign Affairs Subcommittee:
- Complete guest list, student registration list
- Form a Reception team of 10 people to welcome guests and guide contestants in 3 rounds.
- Complete the list of expected 5 judges:
- Youth Union Representative: Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao
- Representative of professional department: Mr. Le Nam Thang
- Department Representative: Ms. Le Thanh Huong
- Guest Representative: Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh
Logistics Subcommittee:
- Prepare awards. (Trophy, medal, prize money…)
- Print program background.
- Prepare logos and icons for the Jury.
- Prepare sound and necessary equipment for 3 preliminary rounds.
- Specialized in logistics, arranging tables and chairs for judges and audience in 3 rounds.
- Be present at the Hall to assist with stage decoration and sound system. Clean up the area around the stage when the show ends.
- Establish a security team of 20 people to ensure safety and prevent incidents; Be ready to handle and respond when bad situations occur.
- Announce the program plan via the web, FB, websites, and notify classes to ensure students understand the program and register to participate.
- Promote the program so that students see the benefits of participating, attracting more students.
- Make a list of scoring criteria, registered entries, classify, and arrange the preliminary round exam time.
1. Jury members: 05 members will hold the scales and ink during the 3 rounds of the program.
- The final round will invite 1 more special guest who is a celebrity.
2. Scoring format:
Round 1: The judges comment and raise the logo, Like and Dislike icons to score.
- Smiley face means yes;
- A sad face means no agreement;
- Based on the result of more than half of the votes being in agreement, the contestant and the performance will be admitted to the next round and receive from the head of the jury a ticket to the next round.
- In addition, the judges will grant "Special Rights", meaning that the contestant will go straight to the final round for truly impressive and truly excellent performances;
- For the performances that make it to the next round, the judges will give suggestions on what needs to be changed so that the performance in the next round will be better...
Round 2 (Semi-finals):
- The judges will comment on each performance until the last performance, then discuss and give the results to award tickets to the final round.
Round 3 (Final):
- The judges watch each performance, record the scores and do not comment.
- The judges' score for the performance will account for 60%
- Audience votes will account for 30% (20%)
- Guest and celebrity scores account for 10% (20%)
